You clearly haven't done enough research, check this out: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_electronic_music_genres Genres with the word "acid" mean they have acid basses, such as acid house, acid trance, acid techno,... And the fact that you assumed acid house is the grand genre for other """fan-based terms""" is just hilarious.
