Most of the songs are actually in German, but it does not sound like real German, since it is sung by Japanese singers (who are no native speakers). But as a German I have to say, I really love all of those songs. The reason for this is that Isayama has been to a town in Germany called Nördlingen earlier in his life, which he really liked (This town does also have a wall :D ). He really adores the German culture and and likes the language,m which is why all of the buildings on Paradis island look like old German houses and most of the main cast has German names. I have also been to Nördlingen, my girlfriend was born there. It is a really beatiful town. Who knows, maybe you would like to visit it some time :)

Scenes that I remember the tracks from: 2:25 Attack on Titan Eren vs Annie. Episode one when Bertholdt kicked down the wall and titans were streaming in. The version used for that scene was slowed down. 6:57 Before Lights Out Erwin's charge. 8:21 K2 I actually don't remember where this track was played, but I read a comment that said it's Levi's battle theme? He said it normally has a rap or something. SO to that commenter. Apparently used during Levi's fight with Kenny and his second fight against Zeke. 10:07 You See Big Girl / T:T I think everybody instantly recognized it but... Reiner and Bertholdt's revelation and transformation. 13:18 Counter Attack-Mankind The theme that played in Levi's OST, No Regrets, when there was the voice over by the narrator (Armin) introducing The Underground. My personal favourite because No Regrets was freaking awesome. 15:07 Apple Seed "That's right, nobody's in the wrong. There's nothing we could do. Because this world... is just... that cruel." Bertholdt's transformation/explosion in the battle for Shiganshina. SO to another commenter who put all the time frames and names of the tracks as well

OST Names in Project Emu: 2:35 ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn (With fun fact: the lyrics has “Is that the destroyer? Or the creator?” in German, as a nod to the first colossal titan appearance in episode 1, which played again in the rumbling episode when eren gets his payback with thousands more colossal titans) 7:05 Before Lights Out (Erwin's theme, because it was played in his final moments against the beast titan) 8:26 K2- (Kenny theme, played in him vs Levi episode. It was a build up when they were about to assault the chapel) 10:23 Youseebiggirl/T:T (You know the drill. One of the best anime plot twists in history) 13:29 Counter Attack-Mankind (Personally I think this is Sasha’s theme because as far as I remember it was first played when Sasha had to do laps as a punishment from commander Keith back in the recruiting days (warm & nostalgic AoT days)) 15:09 Apple Seed (This one hits underratedly hard. Played when Bertholdt claimed “this world is just that cruel” then transforms, also played as instrumental in Youseebiggirl’s opening)

11:59 Legend has it that Reiner Braun hates this exact moment of the song because it makes the memory of him revealing his betrayal fresh to everyone's minds. Like we can literally _see_ the Armored transforming when we hear that note. Then the flashback from the training days comes. Epic as hell.

The man at the piano is Hiroyuki Sawano, the main composer of S1-3, but he also is the composer of some of the songs in S4. As for the composer of S4, Kohta Yamamoto, is the man at the synthesizer. Sawano was the mentor of Yamamoto, and I find it really special that Sawano was succeeded by the man he taught himself. Seeing them both work together on Attack on Titan, especially in the final season, is truly remarkable.

I know this video is 4 months old, but I still wanna comment on this because it hits on another level in German. I'm German myself and the main drop we all know from "You See Big Girl/T:T" (aka the Reiner and Bertholdt theme) hits even harder for me since I can understand it every time. She sings "Mit Trauer und Entscheidung im Herzen zeigen wir den Willen weiterzugehen" which means something like "With sorrow and determination in our hearts, we show the will to keep moving forward" and let me tell you, that just HITS. Goes for a lot of the AoT soundtrack of course. These tracks are even greater when you can sing along to parts of it.

The third song they did wasn’t all of the actual song. It’s kenny’s theme and has lyrics with a different band. It’s actually one of my favorites, the one they play in this specific showcase was missing a lot of the lyricize-d song’s attributes. The song is K-21

highly recommend listening to the rest of his work as well, especially light and shadow from league of legends and uta from bubble. You'll notice similarities in his work and is very easily recognizably beautiful

Absolutely. It gives life to the show. The emotions are well delivered with the soundtracks which are kinda lacking with the last season.

Imagine the goosebumps Cannon and Carter would have had if they were able to attend Attack On Titan Live Orchestra and Reading Event. Their goosebumps would never end. They'd have to enjoy it without subs, though. Haha ^^"
