Spectral Searchlight was printed when Mana Burn existed. It was way better then - you could ping players at end steps when you didn't need the mana.

I’m a big fan of Ornithopter of Paradise. Based on my decks, it’ll probably a B-C tier. If you squint, it’s an Arcane Signet, but it’s an Arcane Signet that holds equipment very well. Also, it’s impact as a threat is usually so low, that it rarely gets targeted with removal. Overall, it’s a decent blocker that will end up paying for itself, and sometimes chip in for damage. If nothing else, it helps you hold the Initiative/Monarchy on multicolor decks.

Ornithopter of Paradise is probably the best of the dorks so I think you're right that it deserves to be on a higher rank because some decks absolutely want it.

I would really love to see some of your brewing pauper gameplay leagues like the old days, that bomberman deck was the reason i got into the format and i dont think anyone can brew decks that can win like you do. If not i completely understand but i had to ask. love your videos regardless.

I’m glad you said something. I’ve tried my hand at it a few lists but they really underperformed. I was trying when affinity was really out of control, though, which was pretty discouraging. I haven’t taken the time to learn the new meta yet but maybe I’ll take another crack at it.

@@lobbert8 it doesn’t have to be bomberman, it could even be a meta deck. I just enjoy watching you play pauper leagues. It does help that the decks are super cool though

You mentioned tickets and that intrigued me. I looked around online and couldn't find a list. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. I'd love if you did a ticket deck tech video or went over some of the pieces.

I'll consider adding it to some content but I'll also provide the info I have right now. Most of the time that I've seen it, it's not the theme of the deck, although Park Bleater decks exist. There are a few cards that give you two tickets, Stiltstrider, Command Performance, and Finishing Move, which is enough to get something and allow you to put a sticker on something so it's good immediately without requiring any additional investment. People, of course, usually put it on their commander so that they get the benefit of the sticker even if they have to re-deploy the commander. If you're able to re-cast the ticket card multiple times, there are some really crazy things that you can get. There are also a lot more cards that only gain you ticket and allow you to put a sticker on something but 1 ticket isn't enough to buy anything so Ticket Turbotubes could theoretically allow you to play more ticket cards but I haven't seen it tbh, which is why it ended up in F tier. I don't use them in any of my decks yet but a notable example is PapaPauper's Sailor's Bane list that optimizes it for the first ability sticker. www.moxfield.com/decks/kDiWDYZDrEu4zQ99L4G8pA

IMO any untapped two mana rock is better than most three mana rocks.
