As a dark skin girly, the Patrick Ta “Still at The Club” duo is really special for me. I feel like there’s sooooo many shiny champagne colors but those taupes and deeper browns are much harder to find. It gives me the perfect shimmery lid look that I’ve been trying to find

On the opening, the Kayali smells like those strawberry swirl cream candies to me! Once it dries down, the strawberry mellows out and the marshmallow comes out a lot. I don't know if I will get a full bottle because it truly is insanely sweet, especially on the opening, but it delivers on the advertisement for sure! I do like it! I would get a travel size to test how well I tolerate that level of sweet lol.

I have really been loving my Huda Beauty Icy Nude palette. The creamy glitters was the reason I bought oh, but it definitely can look a little heavy at times so you have to use a light hand. I saw Kathleen Lights get a light amount, rub it through two of her fingers, and just pat it on. I’ve done it 2x and it literally looks amazing! Reminds me of my Fenty Diamond Balm when you do it that way

I bought a mini of the new Kayali perfume and I’m so pleasantly surprised how much I like it that I’m planning on getting a full size. The couple of other Kayali fragrances I’ve tried I haven’t been a fan of, but this one is yummy. I’m in my 30s and agree that this isn’t a sophisticated fragrance that I would wear to be taken seriously but will definitely wear around the house and for casual outings.

I absolutely LOVE Afternoon Delight!! I totally get vanilla extract, clean skin (doesn’t smell powdery to me, but that same note could be what smells like it to you?), and French madeleine cookies! I wish it was slightly stronger and lasted longer but I also mix it with By the Fireplace which makes it a little more feminine combo!

It's interesting you mentioned the strawberry wasn't overpowering to you in the Kayali. I got a sample size and on me the strawberry is so artificial and strong upon application but when it does finally dry down I get more of that marshmallow which is the scent I was looking for. I need to try it more to see how much I am willing to suffer through the initial wear time to get to the nice fluffy marshmallow before dropping money on a bottle.

The pink sugar tastes too much to me, too. Im so glad you mentioned that because I feel you on that. It's like I love sweets, but I feel like im being forced to eat it cause it just travels in my mouth 😂😂 but for real, it does more than other lip oils and/or balms. That's not always a bad thing to get a sweet treat, but every once in a while, not the whole time.

I bought Heal the Way because of you and ohhhhhh my goodness! It’s perfect! And it lasts all day! It was on sale at Ulta and I don’t regret it one bit! I bought two of the Patrick Ta duos. I can see the sparkles/wet effect in normal room lighting when I close my lid. I have never really tried to check how much my other shadows sparkles in different lighting because I had never thought about sparkle intensity before the duos were heavily scrutinized by multiple people. I got the most unpopular duos, the pinks and the taupe/brown, because I prefer colours and depth. You're the first person that have tempted me to try concealer or foundation, most white people wears too dark yellow beige, but your pale but fresh complexion is what I want.

I think you should check out Korean lip liners if you like the Refy ones. The chubbier twist up is pretty popular for a blurred look. Romand has a really popular one but I’ve also seen some from unleashia and lilybyred.

We are almost skin twins, I use the Westman Atelier concealer shade L3. It is concentrated with a lot of pigment, so using less to blend along with the different shade should work! I find the formula to be similar to the Kulfi concealer-- I wear shade Maple :)

The Pat McGrath foundation is my HG, but also the lip crayons, blushes, under eye powder, and eye shadows are incredible. I got another bottle of the foundation. In terms of the Carolina Herrera fragrances, GG Blush Elixer will be one I’m adding to my collection.

Maybe it would help to know that when I bought the Roxa palette, I was concerned about its bright colors also… But there are some beautiful shimmer shades that have just a hint of color in that pallet, and I have found it a joy to play with! I am also terrified of bold colors.

Why do you have to apologize about liking the Patrick Ta shadows? The price is on par with other shadows. People recommend pricey products all the time and it’s up to the consumer if we want to pay for it or not, it’s not that deep.

There has to be a problem with the formula OR something dirty in the production line for this to be happening as far as I'm concerned.... but they are putting 12 mth life spans on these highend products!! For the prices charged, they should be at least 5yrs!! I have Chemist, make-up shops, (drug stores and Shops like Target, etc) where we buy standard make-up and they are half the price and useable for 5-10 years!!!

I agree. I was excited for Icy Nude. I got it and was extremely disappointed. The mattes are great but several shimmer shades are worthless. Then other shimmer shades live on your face. Just really disappointed.

I don't like it when the glosses taste the same. If you're going to make the gloss tasty go all the way and make it correlate with name. A chocolate pudding gloss should taste like chocolate not sweet and low 😒 FYI that purple Natasha D. pallette was gorgeous.
