Thanks for the Key mention ^^ (he went for an all out dance album this time and I'm here for it) - I like the Onew song, too, but since he is building his own company with a friend, he tried to keep to a tight budget so I can see there are some bits lacking (not his voice or his aura of content and joy). You might like other songs on his Flow album better.

I was really disappointed with Boynextdoor's comeback. I still dont understand why Jaehyun said this would be their best album till now. I mean, the bsides were okay, but the how album definitely had much better bsides. But I'm actually surprised you didn't like dangerous. A lot of people love it (including me, absolutely obsessed. I even think it's their best song so far 😭)

I didn’t hate it but I definitely feel it’s their worst to date. Pre debut onedoor and this is the first time I have been meh about a lot of songs on one of their albums. Oh well, their discography up until now has been flawless and you can’t win them all 🤷‍♀️

Their whole discography is so solid and I honestly think 19.99 adds to it, Dangerous is definitely my favorite song of the album so I was shook when it was so ranked so badly within this video. Except for Nice Guy the whole album just feels so personal to the boys imo, which makes it very soothing to listen to? Idk I just like I guess haha

xikers mentioned!!! xikers is an amazing group, they're really fun and their music is personally one of my favourites in kpop... they do however have a missing member in this comeback and pretty much every comeback they've had so far. junghoon has been on hiatus since may last year (just a little over two months after their debut) due to a knee injury but the members always mention him in interviews and he makes occasional appearances in members' lives, some of their official content, their official platforms and recently he appeared at a busking event though he wasn't performing himself because he was supposed to come back for their 4th mini album (witch comeback) but he was still in pain so kq is letting him rest more. also random fact but minjae (leader of xikers) trained together with theo of p1harmony when they were both still under sm entertainment and turns out they're friends!!

prepare for a long ass note from me i feel like the title tracks by soloists released in september have been pretty bland (BESIDES wavy, pineapple slice, ggum, pleasure shop, electric shock and nemonemo) and they didn't grew on me unfortunately. tzuyu's debut feels pretty outdated (it sounds like a song that was released in late 2000s / early 2010s by a polish female soloist); i liked jinki's first solo cb under griffin but i cannot say it was impressive as his other releases, including blue and dice. the same is with the b-sides on 'flow', like the only one i really liked was "focus", while the other side tracks didn't have that oomph + this mini proves that out of all shinee solo discographies onew's will always remain my least favorite. besides this "na" was also disappointing. seriously. i had high expectations since it was hwasa's first kr solo cb in a year since the DISASTER that is "i love my body" and the girl would always prove others that she has a lot of potential as a soloist (2019-20 was hwasa's peak when it comes to her own songs). what did i get ultimately? a song that is 80-90% psy coded that has an awkward ass choreo but the intro and the verses are just *chef's kiss*. despite the title track being the definition of a failure in hwasa's discography the b-sides from 'o' were just PURE GOLD. believe me, once you listen "ego", "ok next" and "o", you'll fall in love with these songs just after first 10 seconds. moving on to the positive things about the solo releases: - "wavy" is a huge improvement from "bam bam bam" - "pineapple slice" didn't have the right TO SEDUCE MY EARS???? BAEKHYUN KNOWS HOW TO DRIVE ME CRAZY - "ggum"? one of the most insane solo debuts along with smoke, loop, 28 reasons & un village - "pleasure shop" makes me think that key literally deserves the title of the korean troye sivan - "electric shock" is definitely daniel's best title track since "paranoia" - "nemonemo" is STUCK IN MY HEAD. yena's title track game this year is strong as hell and i LOVE THAT as for the group releases... they were absolutely insane. - i've really, really enjoyed listening to day6's "melt down" (it's safe to say that it is their best title track in 5 years since "sweet chaos"!!) as well as their 'band aid' album. i wish nothing but so much luck for the boys and i hope they will slay their upcoming gocheok concerts in december. - next: TTYL IS THE BEST GIRL GROUP RELEASE OF SEPTEMBER. FAX, NO PRINTER. i was WRONG for saying that girl's night is loossemble's best title track once i've heard the ttyl snippets a couple of days prior. the song is crazy and i love how hyeju shined a lot during the promotions of it. except that the b-sides have literally altered my brain chemistry. proof? confessions for example was in the top 10 of my most streamed songs on spotify. i finished listening to secret diary with my jaw open. the execution of the new jack swing sound and the vocals in hocus pocus are just 10/10. - i think i'm the only one who LOVED meovv's debut - BOYNEXTDOOR THE GROUP THAT YOU ARE... "nice guy" screams that rich, lavish boy vibe (the instrumental is worth highlighting) and out of all members taesan woonhak and riwoo sounded the best in this song (ts' "goodnight baby" and wh's "you'll say it I LOVE YOUUU" equals EXTRA EARGASM). speaking of the song i'm also proud of the boys for snagging a couple of music show wins for it, but especially getting their first ever inkigayo win. they deserve it. let's not forget that THEY STOLE MY HEART WITH THE REST OF THE SONGS ON THE ALBUM AND DANGEROUS IS IN THE TOP 3 OF MY MOST LISTENED SONGS ON SPOTIFY. i stan bnd since pre-debut and starting from april of this year they are one of my semi-ult groups but this comeback made me question if they will get a place on my ult list or not. there's a 95% of chances that they're going to become my ult group. - p1harmony are pretty low in my stan list but i think they will rise (a little bit) because "scared" has been offcially beaten by "sad song" as my #1 favorite title track for them!! keeho and theo's vocals in the pre-choruses have sent me to heaven and EVEN HIGHER (the level of bliss that my ears feel when i listen to them is CRAZY) while the chorus is just... SICKENING. the b-sides on the album (besides "wasp") moreover prove that piwon's songs can be truly enjoyable! - "steady" made me get used to nct wish a little bit more (back then i couldn't accept that they are a part of nct) and "supercute" is my most favorite b-side from the album of the same name.
