The Mark rap in You Calling My Name by GOT7 is my ultimate “single part ruining a masterpiece of a song” choice. For a lot of these, I love them as they are (like Armageddon, Supernova, Tempo, etc) but I do get why some of these would be jarring. A lot of them grew on me over time because I loved the song enough to power through and then got used to them haha.

Im an Aghase and i agree with the Mark rap ;-; if the rap part followed the melody and blended with the baseline, it would give a more ethereal feeling and would cohesively follow continuity to the pre chorus. But the overall the song, lyrics and synth elements with the backing track makes this masterpiece a 10/10~

it's not the hip hop that was annoying about the other choruses, it's the emptiness (production is not that great) and the use of one word to try to fill them up, the raps are indeed the most loved parts of the songs. with forever i do agree that it's more digestible (i love the song) but the chorus is like two souls in one body, the second half feels out of place
