why are H bond donors more soluble than H bond acceptors??

I am assuming you are talking about solubility in water. H bond donor will be able to make H-bond with water both ways. It means its H-atom can make H bond with O-atom of water and H of water can make H-bond with FON of compound. Whereas H-bond acceptor would be able to make H bond one way only. Means H of water will make H bond with FON of acceptor.
