@Henry don’t tell me that because there were great defenders you think that means there the best.In the 2000s the game evolved more zones double teaming etc just because 90s have good individual defenders which I agree with doesn’t mean that everyone else was good on d.In the 2000s more players stood out on Defense even the worst defenders were better than the worst defenders in 1990s.It was because of individual talent and coaching like the defensive plays.In the 2010s-2020 the paint defense has gotten worse since players like Kat and jokic type players meaning like stretch’s are taking over so if he can shoot they usually cant defend like that in the paint.Obviously it’s players like serge ibaka and Marc gasol kristaps and more that can shoot and defend but usually centers don’t put their body on the line like the past because they scared of getting dunked on and made fun of.I think his name is Aaron baynes idk but he be getting dunked on I heard but Atleast he puts himself in the way to actually try and stop them from scoring Dont get me wrong Gobert is good but sometimes he moves out the way.

Nah probably the same amount in this era. Jordan’s lack of 3 point shooting will hurt him but he would make up for it bc of lack of physicality and the spacing. Kobe would just be Kobe in this era
@jijmotorp30794 жыл бұрын
Kobe would play different. Without zone defense, im sure he would shoot less and pass the ball more. He wouldn't average much more and would average more assists and rebounds. Also he would play with more offensive weapons and less defensive studs, so it will also increase his assists. Basically the same for jordan, maybe even morz cz he could be the main defensive guy on the perimeter and would most likely play with a playmaking pg. Hard to see him really play in this era though, the game changed so much

Steph had more help than dirk and hakeem.Also there's a good chance the 94 rockets would've beaten the bulls since the bulls had no one to stop hakeem.Dirk played in a slower era than curry so his stats are lower.I think steph is a better player than dirk but not a better scorer

@@williamingwerson4692 KD only played 2 playoffs bc he missed most 2019, talent level was comparable other 3yrs. Theres no bigger help than the GOAT not playing. Its MJ bro, he's more unstoppable. Dirk avg 28ppg once in a 2nd round run. Steph avg 28ppg 3x in last 5yrs in Finals runs. You cant knock Steph playing in a faster era when he created the damn era. The best scorer of all time is Wilt Chamberlain, he holds the record for the highest scoring average on a season, followed Kareem Abdul Jabbar who is the all time career scoring leader. Kobe Bryant had more actual moves and ways to score because he studied Jordan and could easily replicate any move that Jordan could do and then he studied Olajuwan footwork directly from the source over a series of Summers and could replicate any of his moves in the post and then adapted that to his perimeter game through obsessive compulsive behavior that was his practice regimen, whom Phil Jackson himself having seen them both up close as their Head coach through 4 NBA Finals championships dynasties 2 of each for Jordan and Kobe said that alone Kobe Bryant was the hardest working player he had ever coached. He does also have an 80 point game. Under his belt as well. K

These arguments are plain STUPID. "Jordan didn't do it without Pippen." Jordan's teammates combined for 11 All Star appearances. Lebron's teammates combined for 40+. Now it's "Lebron never had a hall of fame coach." Lebron is a HELL of a talent. He's on the Mount Rushmore, but Jordan carried The Bulls in ALL of their finals. He was a 2 guard. His job was to score, and he did it better than anyone. He was also ARGUABLY the best defensive player of his era. The team that Lebron lost with in 2011 was loaded with more talent than ANY of Jordan's championship teams, especially the first three titles. Imagine if Drexler, Jordan, and Hakeem had colluded to take over the NBA. That is what 2011 was like, and it STILL didn't work. Lebron got outplayed by Jason Terry. Let that sink in. MJ was NEVER outperformed by ANYONE in the playoffs, even when he lost.

They would average 40 7 and 7 on 55 percent and be elite defensively that’s considering the competition they played against was the consistently the toughest in NBA history and still dominated Lebrons was consistently the easiest in NBA history.
