That 2005-06 Heat team kind of seems like a fluke in retrospect. They rehired an old coach mid-season and won the ring, were only 44-38 the next season, though many thought it was because they were banged up, but then they got swept by a pretty underrated Bulls team in the first round. Then they completely bottomed out the next year going 15-67, and Riley stepped down and hired Spolestra

I get Shaq. Daigenault won Coach of the year not Mazzulla obviously Celtics has a better record. It’s not always about the best, but the one who gave most impact to team. At the start of the season few predicted OKC gonna be the 1st right. Meanwhile Denver is already established as a Championship contender
