Funny one
@jdk8008Ай бұрын
Why do people act like Stroud is far ahead of Purdy when, Purdy is just as good or better in every key stat for two straight seasons now. Watching every Niners game, Purdy consistently makes difficult throws - hits 25-30 yard throws downfield - opposite-hash out routes - 55-60 yard deep posts between the safeties - back shoulder throws - deep throws down the aodeline For someone often labeled a “weak-armed” QB, Purdy has led the league in average air yards per throw for two straight years. The idea that he has limited arm talent seems more like a narrative than reality, as he consistently proves it wrong with his performance on the field. And he has excellent pocket presence, avoiding a ton of sacks behind a very bad pass blocking OL.

Unless you watch film or film breakdowns on Purdy, you won't see it. It's understandable.

I appreciate the NFL content you make!! It is hard to do deep dives into every single NFL team. So again, thank you for the hard work that you do on these videos. Now ravens fan, I mentioned this on some of your previous videos. I felt that you were a little too low on Lamar going into this season because of that AFCCG, which I will admit Lamar played bad. But, the Ravens offensive gameplan was horrendous and did not put the ravens players in position to win. I don’t mean to be a dead horse with the statement, but the ravens were the number one rushing attack and only ran the ball six times with their running backs. Establishing a run game takes pressure off of the quarterback and wide receivers because it gives another thing for the defense to account for. We are currently seeing that right now with the Ravens 2024-25 offense.
@maxNYGukАй бұрын
I’m sorry Lamar at 4 is disrespectful. There’s a strong argument that he’s playing the best football of any QB right now when looking at his raw numbers and efficiency and considering he’s 16th in passing snaps. Fantastic job TFG, i've been critical of your takes on Tua before (and the Dolphins) - this take you just gave was very measured and FAIR. massive kudos considering it is true, Tua's a very difficult QB to rank; when things go great hes a top 5-8 QB and when things are going poor for him hes fringe 20s but you earn more respect for some of the non-"Wow" traits and intangibles he brings to the position when he's out of the offense. I will say though, to be even more devil's advocate - our front office has completely botched the backup QB situation here. Half of it is incompetence but the other half (which is scary) is that they don't want to bring in a "good backup QB" to safeguard Tua's confidence or w.e. IF thats the actual reason it's cringe.

I think that would be good to show AR the ropes. I appreciate you putting Darnold in Tier 4. I've seen a lot of people saying he's the best qb in the NFL right now, and he's just not. Glad you put some respect on Daks name, I feel like he gets trashed a lot because of the nature of being Cowboys QB and his lack of playoff success. That being said I would rather have him thank Kyler or even Herbert right now because I feel that they have proved even less in terms of being able to get it done in big moments and rely more on athletic ability, which is great and impressive. For me personally Dak is a top-8 QB and I'm obviously biased as a cowboys fan but I thought your analysis overall was very good, and it was a great list!

Watson is having trouble moving when he can't stay loose like he used to

Having Dak, Murray, and Herbert above Purdy is absolutely wild. Purdy is the only quarterback to get shamed for having good weapons. His stats, film, and track record show just how good he is. Argue with a wall

Joke is, everything you said he also did to Goff 😂 Goff and Purdy are fs above dak

I feel like Daniel Jones is in his Geno with the Jets era... maybe in a few years he could be on a different team as a good starter...

seeing dak above jared goff, is actually laughable considering goff has been playing perfect and is up to the mvp conversation currently in the season.

Find 1 niners fan that would take dak or goff over purdy, both of them have less playoff pedigree then him in 2 seasons

I understand that Hurts really ain’t looking too good rn but ain’t no way I could put guys like Geno ahead of him
