Speaking as my child self, nothing beats Wild Force. Speaking as my adult self, jungle fury is actually my favourite. I thought it was just a copy of Wild Force at first too, but it’s actually it’s own thing and a really solid show

I don't want to be that guy but how can you look at jungle fury and think "oh this is just a copy of wild force" like ehhhhhh????? Now wild force isn't even close to being the best season of power rangers (although it was awesome and I did love it) but if you want to accuse something of being a copy don't you think you should accuse wild force of being a copy of lost galaxy! Or Dino thunder as being a copy of mighty morphin! Or SPD as a copy of turbo (because cars)! I could literally keep comparing seasons but I won't. But about jungle fury... It's different. There's a tiger wowww, there's animals... Wowwww. It's martial arts! The tiger, cheetah, jaguar, wolf, rhino, bat, shark, elephant are all martial arts, I don't remember wold force being about martial arts 😂🤣 Plus jungle fury theme was better 😂🤣

@@jeremymcginge9768 in my defence, I hadn’t actually watched any of it when I thought it was a copy, it was just an assumption before I watched the first episode. I also haven’t seen many of the power rangers series aside from Jungle Fury; only Wild Force, Ninja Storm, and Light Speed Rescue, all of which I last saw over ten years ago. As for openings, I prefer Wild Force, but that could just be nostalgia since it was the first one I saw when I was a kid

I was actually just watching the review on KZbin on my PS4 and as soon as he said that jungle fury was a copy of wild force I immediately jumped on my phone just to say something, I couldn't stop myself because anyone can see it's not. If he wants to mention copies he should really pay close attention, the Dino thunder dinos were the same as mighty morphin, wild force was almost a copy of lost galaxy as it had an almost identical lion and wild cat... And the theme was completely different 😂🤣 But tbf that's just me and my biased opinions hahahaha people have a right to their own but I don't have to like it 😂🤣😂🤣

It has more in common with Ninja Storm than Wild Force. Both start with 3 rangers instead of 5 like most seasons, both have an Asian theme, both villain teams are direct evil counterparts to their respective hero teams, and both were exclusively produced by Disney (Wild Force was Saban for most of its original runtime, and is currently the only season to originally air on two networks). Wild Force only shares an animal theme with Jungle Fury, and even then, the latter is kung fu-esque in its animal channeling.

I guess this is a hot toke but I’ve never had a problem with the “Go Go Power Rangers!” In the songs. I never really saw it as nostalgia baiting I say as a similar lyric and that’s about it. I can see why some would disagree tho. Personally my top 5 favorite seasons are the following series 5:RPM 4:Time Force 3:SPD 2:Dino Charge/Super Charge 1:Jungle Fury The opening’s for the top three are also the best opening’s in that order.

Actually the intro your listening to for turbo is after the two parter called passing the torch meaning after the first turbo rangers the same rangers as zeo but after the movie turbo a power rangers movie in passing the torch kat, tommy, adam and tonya saw Carlos, tj, Cassie, Ashley helping people so they passed their powers to them while Justin was still the blue ranger

As someone that was watching Mighty Morphin' when they were releasing the episodes and saw the Mighty Morphin' & Turbo movies, it's so cool to see the evolution and also watch a tierlist from someone that was very clearly the generation after mine in terms of Power Rangers fans. With that being said, figured I'd crack at my top 6 openings here... might surprise you to see where an old fart ranks some of these: 6. Lightspeed Rescue - 2nd best opening sting behind number 1. This song is short, sweet and really shows us a sense of urgency right at the beginning. Also super shoutout to Ms. Fairweather, absolutely rocked that scientist outfit. 5. Jungle Fury - This is probably the hottest take in comparison to your list, but this theme really takes me back to the garbage pop punk days of the late 90s & early 2000s. It has great energy! I think you worried a little too much about how much this show ripped off Wild Force - let's be real every season post-SPD was a rip-off. The theme itself is a definite banger. 4. Wild Force - Objectively probably one of the best - holy fuck does this theme make you want to give this season a go. Probably the second best chorus in the franchise behind number 3 3. Mighty Morphin' - I know you mention nostalgia and how iconic it is, which leads to you dismissing it, but it really was the blueprint for how 90s kids shows needed be built. Massive shoutout to Ron Wasserman for this btw... same guy that did the animated X-Men theme song and about 50% of 90s intro songs. Absolute god. 2. Dino Thunder - Never really watched this show (was in highschool by that point), but the theme hits that fine line of chill and fun. Felt like the biggest departure from the typical in your face themes we get in the series. 1. Lost Galaxy - Song flows great, fit the grand scale of the story of Lost Galaxy really well, and well... Leo's bod shot was legendary. Also Astronoma turning into the Pink Ranger = double win. Whenever someone tells me Mighty Morphin' has the best theme I always redirect them here. Has held the top spot since the year 2000 for me. Thank you for indulging my likely horrific list. But as everyone here says, it's all subjective and I'm a product of my era, just like your list was a product of yours. I did like the time you spent on it though. One of the better tierlists for this topic :)

I am pretty sure that Power Rangers, at least earlier seasons, when casting the 1st thing they did was find a hot pink ranger. Side Note: Earlier seasons actually cast actors that are good in martial arts or gymnastics. They did that to save money on stunt doubles. I am also pretty sure that the super sentai yellow in MMPR was actually a guy, so they had to cast a yellow ranger that could pass for an Asian men while on camera and wearing the suite (which was easier than now, since the television definition was not as good, thought personally i get nostalgic feeling for old CRT tvs, but refuse to plug one in not to ruin the nostalgic feeling, Now when I watch old VHS tapes or play older games, i dont use my big UHD tv but plug into my small old clearance sale flat screen that i use for my 3rd side monitor [technically 4th if you count the drawing stylus monitor], which is made by a discount tv brand and somehow it outlasted the very expensive large tv that i bought same day). Looking back at my comment I realized that I did accidentally take double of my adhd medication. So downside I am very energetic, upside i will get a lot of stuff done today.

Now as someone who’s been watching power rangers since they were an infant, Dino Charge was such a killer opening after Samurai and Megaforce just used the original op and added elements, I couldn’t stop singing that song for the life of me. I out it up there with someone of the OG’s my top 5 has to be 1.Dinothunder/SPD 2.Ninjastorm/Zeo 3.Dinocharge 4.OG Mighty Morphin 5.Lightspeed rescue

this was a fun watch but it was actually different for me regarding the females I found attractive but I'll get to that later. I would say after 3 seasons is when we got a new opening theme since Zeo was different enough. Now regarding Turbo, Tommy started as the Red Ranger but he along with Adam, Kat and Tanya passed their powers on. Turbo when we saw Cassie and Ashley was the first time I didn't find any female Rangers attractive at least back then but now I can kinda see how attractive they both are. For Space, the evil Rangers were called the Psycho Rangers and yes they were awesome. You should do a show where you review the episodes, it would be fun to share Fun Facts with someone else. That was Titanium for the 6th Ranger in Lightspeed Rescue. Wild Force, Master Org wanted Princess Shayla to release the power inside, he didn't know what it was but he knew it was important, she said something along the lines of saying she can't do that hence why he responded with the memorable can't or won't quote because afterwards she explains that only the animal Guardian can choose who has the power to release it explaining that it's not her. No, the plot with Operation Overdrive was both sides looking for the jewels to the Corona Aurora, the Crowd of the Gods. Mack being found as an android was just an extra mystery that they added for their Red Ranger. RPM was a more darker serious tone but it still had its funny moments. Samurai was when Saban got the show back from Disney and he was still stuck on the insistence of going back to the basics. I disagree regarding Dino Charge's opening being bad, the bad openings to me are Mystic Force, Overdrive, RPM and while the Ninja Steel opening theme was decent, it was badly edited in the arrangement which makes it bad.

damn I try to remind myself that not many people have seen the recent seasons compared to the original mmpr days so hearing you say the “remakes” are remakes was hard for me to hear. Jungle Fury is nowhere near a remake, they’re themed around kung fu/animal spirit martial arts, then I wish you didn’t skip through the Super Megaforce intro cause it explains that they are the anniversary team being able to transform into past rangers, and lastly Dino Charge is actually one of my favorite openings, so it was kinda hard hearing that you didn’t like it.

The current Power Ranger isn't as interesting as it used to be. Maybe it's because the opening continues to use the song go go power ranger or the boring story, which is about a group of school teenagers who are chosen to become power rangers. For me, it's better to watch the original version, namely Super Sentai because it has an interesting story, an opening that is easy to hear and has funny jokes
