When ranking those builders you should also take into consideration the licensing price / model of those builders. I've worked a lot with elementor, I really like it, but it is not an option for me for building projects to my clients because of their licensing I don't want to be worried if my client will pay me an annual fee that covers the yearly license, of if the client pays it for himself. It's much better and easier to use builders with lifetime licenses.
@NewPulseLabs2 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for the comment! Personally I find it hard to factor in pricing. Some people might want an LTD, whereas some people might want to pay monthly (gives them more confidence that the company will be around in the long-run). And this might be narrow-minded, but I find the pricing a non-factor when you look at the big picture. I believe Elementor is the most expensive ($199 for 25 sites), which comes out to $0.66/mth per site. It's really easy to include that in your hosting fee, monthly care plan, monthly licensing fee, or just absorb as a business.

@@NewPulseLabs It´s really simple. What can you do in the free version. If you can´t setup a basic site, are spammed every click to buy - sorry, pay yearly for years a fee - it sux.

Great comparison, thanks, would be interesting to have a new one for 2023, with the new Updates, FSE, Pinegrow (WP Plugin) and Cwicly! I've tried a lot of these tools and I have to admit that I still miss something in all page builders, sometimes features, sometimes I don't like the workflow, sometimes the load times are too long (back / frontend.). Currently I'm also trying an interaction with WPCodeBox and Sass Partials to quickly customize things by code. But I'm not 100% happy with any workflow yet. Also an implementation via TailwindCSS and Winden seems very efficient and stable to me, at least for the layout. I also have the feeling that the number of bug is increasing more and more, because the complexity is growing more and more.

@NewPulseLabs2 жыл бұрын
It's still missing a bit for me to give it a B. Definitely a lot closer now with the query builder though, so I personally think it'll be a B within the next release or two. It needs some 3rd party addons support as well.

Good video. Everyone is pretty much disappointed with Brizy. So much deception by so many youtubers that don't mention the massive flaws that haven't been fixed for years. Brizy could be really great if they fixed what they already have instead of adding new things people will never use.

I used Unyson for my portfolio. It seemed very very limited to me. I used it only because I bought Kerge theme and it was suggested there. However I managed to build my website in a few hours because I didn't want to do anything more than what was permitted. If you want complex designes it may not be the best choice, but if you want to do what you are meant to do with it it's pretty fast to make your website

I haven't spent as much time with the different themes, for the reasons that I ranked Gutenberg a D in the video. Blocksy seemed well built in my 10 minutes of testing it though. And if you want to avoid WordPress altogether, Webflow is definitely the way to go. I'd consider it way more if they let you self-host your sites (while still being able to use the editor).

To answer your WooCommerce question, it's *ok* out of the box, but I find it better when paired with something like WooFunnels or CartFlows. That way you can customize the whole ecommerce experience (depending on what kind of store you're building).

In Bricks it is. But in Elementor I don't think you can actually run PHP from inside the builder.

The code snippet features they released are for showcasing snippets on the front-end of a page (aka just text styled differently), or for including code in your header/footer. No actual code block element.

Bricks felt like a different version of Elementor? I think you meant Oxygen, Bricks´ UI is a copy of Oxygen. Also, Oxygen shouldn´t even be on that list since Oxygen is NOT a page builder it´s a THEME builder! It´s on a league on its own. And, personally, Elementor is the best page builder on that list.
@NewPulseLabs2 жыл бұрын
It felt more like Elementor because it was heavily widget based with predefined sets of controls and no class styling. As it's evolved, it's definitely swayed back towards Oxygen now.

Any free Gutenberg plugins are better than all bloated and expensives page builders lets be serious. If someone is not able to build a simple website with blocks and a theme just move to another job. Kadence blocks, Utimate addons for Gutenberg, Stackable, Utimate blocks, Generate blocks and dozen more are free, fast and do the same job
@NewPulseLabs2 жыл бұрын
A simple website, sure. But for anything even remotely more complex, I still find page builders far easier to use. You can't build the same site with Kadence that you can with something like Oxygen.
@thegoat_87182 жыл бұрын
@@NewPulseLabs You cant compare a 129$ minimum product to free blocks plugins, and even in this case you can easily build a site with complex headers and animation effects with any of dozen Gutenberg base blocks plugins + themes and for even more complex the pro versions are twice of the price of Oxygen. Oxygen is not really friendly if you have not CSS knowledges and not so fast as they say especially on mobiles
