12:26 if anyone is still playing this now that Sons of The Forest is out, this enemy is actually very easy to deal with if you can isolate him away from other enemies. Have him follow you far away and then stay close to him and behind him at all times. He will stop trying to charge you and will foot stomp instead. from this point you can spear his butt and he's easy peasy.

It's scary as hell walking through the forest and you just hear loud mutant noises while you have barely any armour because you just fought a whole tribe of cannibals. That made me run faster than my dad💀. The babies are hell, even in normal difficulty they destroyed my bone armour in 1 hit like what🗿

idk man, im a relatively new player and i had a much easier time killing the big mutant things than a group of cannibals. i always run with full bone armor, and by the end of a fight with a relatively large group, i always have around 3-4 armor pieces missing. but when im facing the big ones, its easy to avoid em, set em on fire cuz theyre slow, and keep throwing spears till they fall over and die

I really like the base defence aspect of this game, I think there was a spot that the Dynamite Cannibal could fill (would require a nerf though lol). Also, Archer cannibals could have been a lot of fun to go up against as well

I hate the normal Cannibals/Mutants the most, they are so agile and always dodge my attacks. I like the Armsy as my personal lumberjack though xD The Armsy is very vulnerable against the Chainsaw! Just hold it against his body and run around him in circles. He will die in less then 10 seconds.

Ok I am on my 1st play through of the forest, and I met the 1st baby at an outdoor camp. After being so already terrified of every mob in the game, I just took not even a second hesitate and smacked it with an upgraded stick before it could do anything. Obviously it attracted alot more badies, but man it just seems the further I go into the game, I am either bored(because early material farming can be too much at times), excited after discovering a camp or beating a mob, or terrified yknow when the mobs gang up n go nuts.

Honestly, the fact that the gameplay is nonlinear can make it overwhelming in the beginning! If I was going to suggest a start, I’d suggest quickly gathering materials at the plane, building a small shelter, avoid attacking anything if you can help it, and then venturing out from there. Once you have a “home base”, it’s easier to know you have stuff stored, a place you can return to, and gives you some headway to make plans for expeditions!

Mutants are much easier than cannibals in my opinion. The key is to use incendiary arrows and keep running sideways when they charge at you to dodge their attacks, having a quiver is really handy so you don’t randomly run out of arrows, fire is key with killing them, P.S. when you run out of arrows use Molotovs and explosives. Trust me, Don’t use melee weapons with mutants especially with armsies, one hit and you’re gone especially if you don’t have armor, keeping your distance is really important with mutants (don’t use sticky explosives while cowman is running at you 💀)

I know this is old but I have seen you look at old vids to comment but the white cannibals with the crosses and the flood lights in the night they are simply called painted cannibals and are easily the hardest base cannibals for the surface to deal with more so the later in the game you get because the normally are also holding any kinda weapon and that adds to their base dmg. Now the worm creature I would not say S tier more alike a simple A tier and the reason why is the worm actually does not do a lot of dmg to the player, I know this as I fought him at day 80 no armor on and took more hits then I woulda from a painted or cave cannibal, but what the worm actually does, is destroy bases as it does the most dmg to base building or decor and such, if you build it, the worm wrecks it, the reason why it was so is players would build on invincible island, mountain, tree, and beat based, so the dev's added the worm as the one size fits all counter, it is the only enemy that is confirmed to be able to swim, and it can fly so the mountains, water, or suspended odd bases are on the menu for the worm of terror

The worst enemy for me is the fast ahhholes that run around too much because I cant headshot them. Other enemies are easy especially the normal canibals that basically just stand and look at you lmao.

Honestly, the chieftains or the brute cannibals are the easiest, they are not eratic or zipping around, they are rather collected, which makes them an easier target. I find the skinnies and the normal canabals harder due to their speed, they refuse to take a beating like all obedient AIs should. Props to the EndNight devs for their AI, absolutely brilliant. I agree with everything else on the tier list. Legsies are terrifying. When fighting the enemies, sometimes the female cannibals are more difficult due to the psychological effect of the flashing. If modding is a thing, I may look for one that covers up the nudity.

Most hated and most op: the worm, duh 2nd place most OP: Blue armsy has the most damage 2nd place most hated: female tribal cannibal - They are the most aggressive members of their tribes and the fastest way to max out the aggression meter of her tribe is to kill her. If you don't leave her to die as last withness you will have scores of chieftains and molotov cannibals rolling up to your base in no time. Meanwhile, cannibal tribal Amber Turd will attack you even if your relationship with her tribe is ok and will keep wailing on you no matter what you do.

The cowman are the most annoying for me, I can handle a group of cannibals and a couple of armsies or Virginia's but these guys (cowmen) are a hassle to deal with. Armsy is the hardest mutant imo because of armsy being a tank and taking so long to die and when you kill the armsy most of your resources are depleted and can't fight anymore mutants. and mutant babies are easy to deal with but when they hit you, bru you dead as hell. hardest endgame boss is the worm cuz it just dodges all of your traps.

bro i was playing multiplayer we had just beaten the game my homie leaves to get the artifact (we were at our base) and the entire mutant god damn mutant gang roles up i hear mutants i go up the watchtower i see an armsie, a virginia, and a fucking cowman and im not kidding that fatass ran right through the deadfalls we had was about to run right into our base but from the tdamage he took from the deadfall he somehow died to the basic spikewall we put up for no reason, only reason i lived was cause of that spike wall (i was in our cabin that was on the side of a mountain which i was over the edge on in the cabin)
