Failed champion isn't that hard: if you go to the other side of the arena, he will just do one jump which you can dodge with a dash, and than make a few hits. It's very safe and you will only have to be aware of the rocks.

He was #1 for me. AR took me a bit longer, but I always felt like I understood why I died, and knew how I needed to improve. Radiant Markoth just always felt like BS to me, and I think I only got him once because I was _really_ lucky.

I have yet to beat Markoth without the floor, and I just don't want to fight him tbh. PV and NKG were really hard at first, but they were fun to fight, so I continued challenging them. Markoth, on the other hand, is bullshit, ridiculous, AND frustrating. There is nothing fun about him, I'm very unmotivating to practice him, and I probably will stop acknowledging him as a boss one day, and just delete him from existence using debug mod every time I meet him, once I'm simply too frustrated and mad at this floorless, shield-reliant, sword-spawning fuck of a god forsaken moth.

But the stinking Oblobbles have absolute no patterns of consistency and that alone makes it harder than most radiant bosses even when it is normal it is difficult. Also to say how difficult Oblobbles were I did Radiant Markoth a few months faster than I ever did Radiant Oblobbles.

Honestly Markoth was so much harder than Abs Rad for me, simply because AbsRad was interesting enough that it didn't feel like I was going insane. Markoth took me a good two or three hours, but Absrad i got eventually just trying a few times every few days

I think Zote is easier than Pure Vessel. If you use heavy blow and shade soul (with shaman stone, spell twister, and soul eater) to keep the Obbobles on one side it's a lot easier to dodge their projectiles. Then use dash slash to get soul for shade soul when there's only one left. I agree with Markoth and Absolute Radiance placement. Great video!

Telling me what boss to focus on really made a difference, and I could smash out 7-9 radiant bosses every time I could sit down for a while. And the fact that you barely gave any strategy for the bosses made it all the more fun, as I had to figure out what the best charms are and how to overcharm as much as possible, how to dodge attacks properly, how aggressive to be.

One of the easiest bosses on Radiant by far. Just dash through him on every attack and do descending dark when he starts to hit the ground sending shockwaves at you. The only kinda difficulty part is reacting when he's going to charge or start to hit the floor. That's why I usually walk a little away from him after my attacks to see what he's going to do so I have enough time to decide to either dash throug him or do the descending dark. Also, do never be to greedy against him. 2 attacks at most per dash and always stay close to avoid the helicopter flying spears.

Watching a video of a radiant Sister of Bsttle is what got me to pick up the game about 10 weeks ago. It’s just a fair fight with enough challenge to demand your full attention and to punish bad play. I have since sunk 120 hours into it and done all the stuff, except radiant about 1/3 the Godhome bosses. I think some of your strats could be refined though, the failed champ fight after the first phase it’s possible to stagger him again by farming soul when he’s down, 3-4 abyss shrieks as he’s jumping to the middle(with Shaman stone on) and nail Strike him til his mace comes down during his Frenzy. When it does shadow dash to the wall and one shade soul should put him back down. Rinse and repeat.

Honestly traitor Lord would be much lower for me. He's so slow you can basically spam him to death. When he jumps just walk under him. No need to even dodge. His strike is kinda hard to dodge but if you time it right you can dash right through it. Sharp soul comes in handy there for the extra damage, but you do need to dodge closer immediately otherwise he might use a ranged attack. His shockwave should just be dodged but I know you can time a sharp dash through him and get in some damage. Oh, and pro tip for Pure Vessel, his sword spike attack will never have any spikes on top of the Vessel, so you can pogo off of him during the attack. That attack always got me before I saw someone else do that.

Traitor lord is one of the few bosses I can consistently do radiant of. Sharp shadow, unbreakable strength, quick slash. Stay close and spam nail, shade dash through the dash or shockwave and walk a little on the jump and get an upslash in.

Honestly, I found Markoth the most difficult if you’re doing radiant. Absolute Radiance took me very quickly( 56 min) while Markoth took 1 hr and 30 min. It might be the fact because it’s the last radiant boss I did and my determination skyrocketed. I REFUSED TO DIE. I’d rather do Path of pain or Absolute Radiance than Markoth any day. The charms I used for Absolute Radiance were dashmaster, sharp shadow Strength, Quick Slash, Grubberfly’s Elegy. For Markoth I only used Great Slash and dash slash with Nailmaster’s glory, sharp shadow, sprintmaster, dashmaster and soul eater for shade souls . Btw, Strength DOESN’T affect nail arts once so ever.

22:40 i found a cool strategy about the wathcer knights boss basicly if you have unbreaking strenght you get 19/20 hits on the first one and wait for the second dude to spawn kill the first one and youll have the aportunity to get 15/20 free hits out the first one you kill him quicly and get 10/20 free hits for third 5 free hits for fourht for pure vesel i have only 2 advises get used to his attacks and dont hit him more 2 or even 3 times its gonna backfire you

I vowed that I would take a shot every time I lost to sly. Took 14 attempts and then promptly beat Zote in 2 attempts whilst drunk to prove to a buddy how easy he was and then passed out. Markoth, Oblobble, marmu and Watcher knights are probably the hardest ones for the ungodly reason that most of their competitors, nails masters, grim and vessel are really well designed to be punishing while not being unfair. Battle sisters are also really fun. That shit helps me meditate.

Oblobles are actually easy. Just use a spell build and use shades to push them both on the same side when one move towards you. This way you stay on your side and they stay on theirs.

I ''only'' did all bosses on ascended, and my ranking is pretty similar to yours. Some notable exceptions:I'd rank Soul warrior, Nosk and God tamer much higher and I'd put Markoth, broken vessel and Marmu much lower. Oh, and actually I lied, I did not beat all bosses on ascended. What am I missing? Absolute Radiance. I believe I spent over 10 hours in total trying to do that shitty fight. I finally decided to give up, quickly do the game on steel soul to get all achievements, and now it's been three weeks that I have not touch the game.

bro traitor lord is WAY easier than you make him out to be, to be fair you didn't claim him to be difficult, but the fact is that he is just an exaggerated moss charger. All of his attacks can totally be avoided with shade cloak. You can equip sharp shadow, and dash through him until he dies. His attack intervals are very much enough for shade cloak to recharge. Not to mention DD.

Markoth is less difficult and more of a pain in the ass. You need patience and need to know when to attack. Use dash slashes and mega-slashes on first phase, use spells and nail arts if needed on the second phase. It takes a while, and you may become mad, but if you stay patient you can easily defeat him. He is definitely the hardest dream boss, but he shouldn’t be second place.

I would put Traitor Lord right after Elder Hu. One of the easiest bosses to get Radiant with if you actually use your shadow dash to couter and keep yourself close to him all the time instead of jumping over and pogoing like in the video. Two nails, dash, two nails, dash. Repeat until he slams the ground and then do the decending dark to avoid the shock waves. Repeat the process again. Done.

Flying Nosk is much easier with Flukenest. He'll auto hit all of them when he scrapes its face on the ground. On a lucky RNG, White Defender can be quite easy if he balls up and jumps at a low angle. You can beat him with up slashes before he can touch the ground again. Man I feel I'm a madman when I watch you play. I always try to lend just beside Pure Vessel when he throws his blade up so I can smack him like 6 times w/o danger

radiant markoth really wasnt that hard for me. i struggled more with the ascended fight, as i had to learn the proper timing to pogo him during the spin attack. i had that down already by the time i got to do it radiant so i just equipped a full spell build to deal with his 2nd phase and beat him in ~25min. much easier than *_fucking oblobbles_* imo also, important tip for this fight: for whatever reason, nails can spawn out of bounds behind the left wall, but *not* behind the right wall. do yourself a favor and try to stay on the right side of the arena if you can

I find dashing very uncomfortable to use in the Sisters of Battle boss, as I much prefer dodging everything manually unless I absolutely have to use shadow dash or descending dark during that fight. However, I can see where it could be useful for when all three are doing the slamming attack, so I'll check it out. Saying it's only useful in that fight is a major understatement though, as the lengthening of the dash, while taking a while to get used to depending on the fight, is very useful for getting in and out quickly after dealing a couple of hits (such as that of PV, Oro & Mato, the Watcher Knights, etc.).

@@shots987 in sos dodging by dashing altho can put yourself in some uncomfortable positions, if you, in the words of hornet " get good ", it can actually rack up a lot of damage overtime especially if you're using dash master ( as it gives sharp shadow a 2x damage boost ). in most of the fights you mention it's actually way easier to just Pogo and dodge manually, and the extra length given by sharp shadow can actually become a detriment in fights like the watcher knights and oro and mato because of the fact that when dashing through them, you might overshot and ram into the next one.

@@puru7976 I don't like dashing through enemies, as shown by the amount of the times that I dodge away from Oro & Mato even with Sharp Shadow equipped. I suppose it really does come down to just what you're comfortable with doing against each boss.

Sharp shadow is very useful I am a year late however it is highly useful in fights where it is hard to get hits in such as NKG. Sharp shadow also extends the range of shadow dash so it is easier to time your dodges. Finally, because of the extended range, it is very helpful in certain platforming sections such as the path of pain.

Marmu is one of the easiest, get quick slash and that thing that shoots things when you have all the life and it's very easy. The other amulets you should put on are steady body, strenth and long nail. In the fight just jump and press the attack button 😁

I found Marmu extremely hard, I just dont get used to the speed she got in certain parts of the fight.

Bosses like SoB, PV and nkg were much easier for me than rng based bosses like oblobbles or marmu, because everything is telegraphed and predictable, it’s purely skill based. MARMU TOOK ME A FUCKING HOUR. Obblobles took me 2, but were Atleast slightly more entertaining. Don’t get me started on markoth though

Yeah, I usually try to avoid full scripts because I feel it comes off dull. I really only use it for these ranking videos. The all in one sitting is fair though, since I was trying to rush through when I had the time. My house is very rarely quite due to having 4 siblings and a pet dog (don't worry, apparently a lot of people think I'm an adult), but it would've been better if I had split up the recording once they got home like you implied. Also, my bad for replying so late. Forgot to mention that I don't have my own room either, which just adds to the noise level when anyone else is in the house.
