The Monitors now reside beyond the sphere of gods, limbo. the 5th dimension... etc. The Anti monitor, Monitor and world forger themselves are fractions of the overvoid. And the dark monitor is one of the greatest threats to DC as a whole. The monitors themeleves were able to weaponise the most powerful narrative in DC, the story of superman itself. I dudbt say they scale above the writers, I just said they scale above narration which is a fact. They far exceed Mr mxyzptlk. Mr Mxy was terrified of dr manhattan, dr manhattan isn't on the level of the monitors. Im just saying, the phoenix doesn't scale that high in dc or even in marvel. No they wouldn't lol, just look at the DC cosmological hierarchy. They exist far beyond the 5th dimension which itself is pure imagination and beyond creation to a point where 5d imos can play with the comic panels themselves. The monitors have had some low showings ill admit that but that's because some dc writers never really understood the dc cosmology and where everything fits. Just look at Grant Morrisons run and Snyders new adaptation to see how massive dc is and where everything fits, you'll see how powerful the monitors are.

Depends on the individual and what emotion they're more inclined towards. Superman would get a massive boost from the Blue, Green and Pink Rings because he operates on Hope, Love and sheer will power. Batman would be best suited with a Green and Yellow ring considering his will power is almost unatched and his fear factor is also extremely high. Someone like Hulk would be amped by a red ring. Each ring amps you but the ring that best suits your character and personality would amp you the most. That being said, some power rings are simply more powerful than others, for example white rings > black rings > green rings > purple rings.
