10:15 actually the akatsuki were avaible in the story mode, i remember that we had side stories where you played with the akatsuki or characters that normally you wouldnt play as, for example i remember a sasori vs deidara one, or itachi beating some random ninja in the uchiha hideout before fighting sasuke, or danzo scaping from the kage summit beating some samurais, impact was a great game and had the potential for a sequel, too bad it never happened

Indeed, all characters you can use n extra missions has 1 or 2 missions at least on story mode. It seems he may not unlocked the secret paths. He didn't even mention about the card sets which is also one of the fun part of the card system

Ninja Impact was one of my favorites since it was a musou. Really is a shame that they only explored this once and that was it (since you could definitely get the mileage to Musou the hell out of Naruto; especially if there was a ninja war and Madara basically being Lu Bu in that one sequence). Glad to know you mostly enjoyed it.

I've been so excited for this. I recently played UN Impact to 100% and it never gets old. Inb4 you've even ranked it. Edit: Bottom of B rank. Not too bad, about where I expected it.

Only for the great ninja wars really, I don’t see how other arcs can be turned into warrior games unless they add like filler enemies which wouldn’t fit too well in the pain arc. Since those games usually have you capturing command posts and taking out hundreds of enemies

@@flyingchairguy2221 i'm reminded of when they attempted to kinda do the musou style in storm 3 with the mob battles, but it sucked hard compared to impact, only a handful of enemies and you had to lock on to each one individually, it did not feel fun at all

Finally...Im a bit surprised you have not talked about card sets since it works a little the same way in Kakarot which you loved so much. Its fun just placing which 4 cards to put then a sound pops up that you unlocked a set which gives additional buffs. I do agree with the setbacks with some missions are quite bothersome and some needs you to kill all enemies(including those crows or spiderbombs) to get it to S rank and get the card for that stage. But I ave set this game 100% 3 times already and will gladly do it again

It's time for me to say this. The jutsus you can do mid combo in Impact SHOULD've been in Storm games. It would've made that arena fighter better with more variety of combos

GOD! I remember back in like 2010-2011, I remember playing Ultimate ninja Impact, on the JPCSP emulator lmao, from the demo to the full game, (cos my parents refused to give me a PSP) and man it was painful cos it rendered badly, would have FPS drops and would crash, and I remember eagerly waiting for every JPSCP update. Eventually the PPSSPP emulator came out and I literally could play this game from start to finish without any crashes. Lol good times.

Ihad a 99h.99.99 savedata back in 2012-2014 on my old PSP, good old days, as a fan of musou games and big fan of Naruto at the same time, this game was an amazing experience back in the days when iwas still in middle school. It's sad that Impact never received a proper sequel or a console port taking inspiration from the PSP game and being developed on larger scale (more combat features, characters, story, content, enhanced graphics and sounds etc..)

This series is not complete without playing Naruto Shippūden: Gekitō Ninja Taisen! Special. It is the final game of the clash of ninja series. Although was only released in Japan, there is a fan made english translation. Features included an updated character roster and a substitution bar.
