Why disregard Cleveland's play against the Texans?!? In the final weeks of the season they gave up 45 to the Texans, 31 to the Bengals, 22 to the Texans, 27 to the Jags, 36 to the Rams, and 31 to the Ravens. The offenses they shut down were Titans, Cardinals, Steelers, and Bears. Also known as bad offenses.

They were also historically good at home and historically terrible on the road, in part due to their easier home schedule

The only unknown about the Raiders secondary is if Bennett will be one of the starting CBs or not. He's got the speed to cover any receiver, and likes to tackle. Otherwise, Hobbs, Jones, Epps, and Moehrig are extremely solid. And, with one of the best defensive lines now, they will be allowed to roam and make plays. They were the #1 scoring defense the last half of the season last season.

Ravens 4th is the worst evaluation I’ve ever seen! They clear the bengals in stride. Geno Stone was ravens 3rd at best safety. Browns and Steelers I can see an argument. But I’d personally put Ravens over Steelers because of the safety combo in Baltimore. Browns have great cornerbacks however I think they’re a bit overrated you can’t overlook the Texans game

This man really said he worried about Diggs and bland giving up big plays THIS AINT 2021 NO MORE Diggs has gone from most interceptions in 2021 to becoming a real lockdown CB in 2022 and was carrying over into 2023 before his injury and bland not only got the record pick six for a season but was actually a good cover CB even with the bad game he had against Seattle this is such an insane take

The Ravens covered the good teams, even on the road and in the playoffs. Who did the Bengals cover all season? The Browns and Steelers were at least close, although it is ridiculous to rank them ahead of the top unit on the top defense in football, too, but not nearly as much as the Bengals. What are you looking at, DJ?

The hype around Lassiter's 40 time will look foolish in hindsight. The way he played in college so far is how he practices as a pro. Texans are going to have a great tandem at CB and they've got Hunter, Autry and Anderson rushing the passer against an offense trying to keep up with CJ. It's going to be a great year for Texan fans.

How are these not a result based ranking? What part of league leader in points allowed, sacks and takeaways indicates 4th best secondary in the division? The Ravens didn't allow points or big plays like the Browns and Steelers did in the playoffs. They have a 1st team all pro and a 28 year old former one in Marlon Humphrey. Brandon Stephens didn't allow many catches last year and he played all the time against the Jamar Chase, Higgins, Cooper, Pickens and any of the top wrs on the schedule including shutting down the Dolphins, 49ers, Lions and whoever else was in the way. They have more quality and more depth than anyone in the league in the secondary, obviously if you look at the numbers and not the names.

Ravens 4th??? That’s crazy. You could argue they have the best safety in the entire league and probably the best safety combo. Marlo was hurt most of last season and they have nice depth.
@richardgiles56087 ай бұрын
Watch out ror the 49ers secondary this year, it's the deepest they have had under Shanahan. Yaidom might start opposite Ward, every 49er fan loves Lenoir and I think he is getting better, Green has been great in training camp, plus the coaches seem to be very high on Luter. 49ers haven't had 5 good corners in well a long time. Feel like they have prioritised corner depth over d'line depth this year.
@JAmCaM2127 ай бұрын
Ward is a Chiefs cast off. They traded him and got better. He was always 2 or 3 on the Chiefs. If he's a number 1 CB on the 49ers, your secondary can't be great. Also, he benefits a lot from your team pass rush.
