I'm much higher on Chomche. His defense can be legit, 3pt potential, just needs the right team to develop his offense

Great video. I hope this guy deserves a job in a front office somewhere in the league. So much detail and humility in his analysis of players assessed. Keep it uo JB!

Missi will probably end up being the best big man in this draft. He has that Siakam spin and it works for him and he will be able to use that in the NBA. I can see him becoming the next Adebayo.
@ljgittingeriii3199Ай бұрын
Zach Edey is bigger, longer, quicker, faster, a better shooter and just essentially a better and more skilled basketball player than Donovan Clingan. He won the national collegiate player of the year both in 2023 and 2024, finishing above every other player in American collegiate basketball (obviously, including Donovan Clingan) two years running. He kicked *** at the combine too, with a significantly better showing than Clingan. Why can't people see this. The Spurs having two 7-foot 4-inch players on the court at the same time? Who has ever heard of such a thing?
@nicholasxridiculousАй бұрын
I came here to say this too. Why is Edey not above Clingan?
@na_kАй бұрын
He was national collegiate player of the year in 2023, and wouldn't have been a 1st rd pick. Returned to college, was national player of the year a second time and isn't a lock for a top 10 pick in a weaker draft. The GMs know something, which would scare me.

Idk why ppl think Filipowski is a bad defender… He’s actually decent enough from what I’ve watched and heard experts say about him and his all around game is versatile. He likely does not have upside much higher than a Kelly Olynyk or Wendell Carter Jr. caliber of center but also has a solid floor as someone who can at least play off the bench. 11th for big men is too low the 3 guys you have right ahead of him might be g league players and never crack 1,000 NBA minutes in a season way too risky to have over Filipowski imo

I was hoping to see Ariel Hukporti. I think he's going to be a solid pro.

I'd kinda be intrigued to see how much your mock draft would be adjusted if age was a non-factor (ie everyone is 19y 0d, more about current ability than potential)
@reimixoАй бұрын
well, by current ability the draft would be just he lottery pretty much.... and dudes would have to stay in college... like 85% are not ready for the nba, every year, not just this one.. and I think even everyone at 19yo people would stay draft for potential, but the better player has better potential probably

Clingan is good, but not strong enough to succeed day 1 in the NBA. Watch how Jaedon Ledee pushed him around in the sweet 16 game.

As a Cs fan id like to take edey but idk if we have like an actual great playmaker that would get him lobs otherwise hes what we need

Tyler Smith so high in this list is egregious

I like the screen set up with the player has the biggest picture. I don't watch college basketball much at all. I enjoyed college championship game. so I do not know who you are talking about without screen help such as name, picture with jersey information, please include players name on the picture so I don't wonder who you are talking about as I am probably like a lot of others a utah jazz fan or fan of another team and wondering about then nba draft prospects, thank you.

6:53 Houston at 3 with Sengun is pointless San Antonio at 4 with Wemby moving to 4 won’t work out Detroit at 5 with Duren feels weird Charlotte at 6 with Mark Williams feels weird But Portland at 7 with Ayton and Rob Williams is the sweet spot? I don’t really see the big difference in Portland and teams like Detroit and Charlotte, if you’re assuming trades, Charlotte and Detroit can trade Williams and Duren just like Portland can trade Ayton and RobWilliams. If you’re not assuming trades, he’s gonna be a 3rd stringer which is even worse than Charlotte and Detroit.

Praying for Tyler Smith to Pels
@irvchilichill1Ай бұрын
Yeomens work. For my Pels, I'm hoping they take Ware or Mycee, but they gonna have to move up a good bit from 21. I think they pass this year on the Lakers pick and swap it to next year.
@taylor_m_237Ай бұрын
I don't think we need to trade to get wither. One might not be an available but one will be there. I like Ware over Yves. I am hoping for Tyler Smith myself. Herb Trey Zion Tyler is a huge group with crazy shooting and athleticism
@irvchilichill1Ай бұрын
@@taylor_m_237 I certainly agree with wanting Tyler as he is my most wanted big in this draft. Trey 2.0. I can see the lineups and the havoc it will reek.

Some people have to understand just because a player (Edey) tests better over 1 wk, does not make him a better prospect than another (Clingan), or better pro fit. People dismiss multiple years worth of evidence for a small sample size. Also, the overall stats in their head to head have to be taken in context. In the crucial moments of the national championship, Clingan shut Edey down. He could not score when his team needed a bucket before the game got out of hand in the 2nd.
