As a Gardens enthusiast I think it's save to say that Avenging Hunter and Kahlni Gardens are the reason to play green cards. Weather is just a welcome bonus.

@@davidroyale14 I played a mono black deck Friday (proliferate sacrifice) and you are not wrong. Having access to Deglamer and Weather does help a lot.

@@RyuBateson218 Yup, realistically, mono black doesn't have the tools, and feed the swarm is not reliable against enchantments either. Black Gardens is a good deck.

Black Gardens is not last. Altar Tron and Turbo Fog are not in the bottom 20. Bogles was ranked way too high.

The order of the decks shown in the video does not correlate to their ranking. That's why they have individual TIER ranking on them in the bottom left corner. As such, Golgari is not last. It's just last to be shown in the video, the same goes for the bottom twenty, as you call them (except for Turbo Fog. I hate that deck, and as such, it was biased ranked😆🤣). Bogles are fine, probably a bit too high but very good against some metas and not wildly ranked, it's deffinitly up there.

Delver is pretty playable in Pauper. There is a lot more viable stuff to try out. I personally love rakdos madness midrange.

Black Burn wrecks mono red burn

As a Black Burn player, I take issue with its ranking here. Maybe 5 months ago it wasn’t quite as good, but still, F? It’s been Top 8’ing or even winning tournaments since long before this was posted because it combines the face-melting of burn with the life gain you need to overcome red burn. An F implies that it fails to do its job, which could not be further from the truth.

Weird, I haven't seen it at all anywhere for the last few months or at least six months from now. lol, I know what the deck does, but you would rather play the best burn version or the Walmart option in a high-level tournament? So, to me, F haha 😄. I could be wrong though, which might be the case, but I would never consider it as a serious option for anything really

@@davidroyale14 it took 6th in Saturday Pauper in September 24, and 2nd in the Italian league on September 27. It’s shown up several times since then too, given the card disruption provided by the addition of hopeless nightmare. It got 2nd place at the Monthly Tournament, like, 3 days ago. I’m not disputing that mono-red is still the best burn deck in the format, but to give Black Burn an F because it’s not mono red is like giving mono-blue terror an F cuz it’s not dimir terror. In both cases, the worse deck still does its job pretty well, so why does one get a fail while the other passes? Furthermore, the benefit of running black burn is that most lists don’t have sideboard hate against it. Tech that deals with red spells or 1- and 2-toughness creatures don’t really hurt it much and can even help it by nuking a serrated scorpion or two; pro-black creatures don’t really matter since the deck focuses on hitting your opponent’s face and a lot of its removal targets players, not creatures; and you have access to duress-effects and nihil spellbomb. It’s still not nearly as nice as all the card-advantage of mono-red shells, but in my experience it’s a very robust deck that, when tuned right, doesn’t have too many *bad* matchups even if it doesn’t run away with the game as often as it’s red brother does. That’s why it’s been stealing top-8s away from caw gates lately, and why I 3-0d with it against three aggro (two of which were red burn) decks two weeks ago. People who underestimate it lose - plain and simple. I’d say C is a much more fair rating for it, cuz it still does what it’s supposed to do, has a lot of answers to the meta that don’t disrupt that game plan, and has been placing well pretty consistently. But hey, that’s just my opinion, and I admit I’m somewhat biased :P

They are not being viable in the meta at the moment as those tend to be slow and the meta is wildly fast now. It is one of my most loved strategies and I've invested tons of hours on it but sadly it has some inconsistent results.

D as it is right now. It has some explosive turns but dies hard to graveyard hate and is somewhat inconsistent. In some metas where no one expects it it can do very well, but If it rises in popularity or people know you run it, then it starts performing worse

@@tostapane9092 The play patter I found is that sliver players tend to flood the board and hold onto the stampede and winding way while baiting the counters with some of the lords. A resolved Lead the Stampede is bad news as Dimir can't keep up with the removal.
