The stranger deserves more appreciation. He has such a creepy presence to him, and in my opinion is not only one of the best villains of the telltale series, but one of the best walking dead villains period

Yeah, Stranger is one of the villains to practically succeed in their goal for revenge and extraction. The Stranger got a hold of Clem emotionally using her parents against her and that caused a series of events leading Lee to get bitten, Ben being a kabob, practically Omid and Christa almost lost their lives themselves. Lee’s fire nonetheless saved Clementine and made solutions. In my opinion Carver is the best villain because he had tactical thinking,strength, brutality, power,combat,etc the stranger was honestly Clem was desperate to see her family otherwise he wouldn’t be so successful

Sure Clem was desperate to finding her parents and lost faith on lee during episode 4 which is why she went to him. I just wish we had more screen time with the stranger. I just always thought that they added that whole situation with clementine to have a reason of why lee and the rest to get infected and die from it. The stranger was more of an obstacle for lee and stepping stone for clementine to see how awful people really are.

The Stranger is... unique amongst this roster. He's not some guy trying to rebuild society in his own twisted way. He's not some lapdog douchbag following orders. He's not some corrupt leader acting all kind just to stab you in the back. He's just... a stranger. We never even learn his name, iirc. The Stranger is just another ordinary person in the world who had a decent life that fell apart in the apocalypse. He took his son on a hunting trip to teach him how to survive in this cruel new world, only to lose him. He tried to make things up for his wife and daughter, his remaining family, with a car load of food and supplies. But when he leaves the car for just a few minutes to go grab them, they return to find everything stolen. Stolen, by Lee and his group. The immense setback drives the Stranger's wife and daughter to leave him alone, and he ends up finding them dead not long later. All because some random survivors stumbled upon his car, and he didn't have the sense to turn it off and lock it. He stalks Lee's Group for a while, plotting his revenge. Until he realizes they have two kids with them. One gets bitten and has to be put out of his misery, but the girl? Clementine? He sees her as an opportunity for redemption. If he could take her away from these "terrible" people, he could give her a safe and happy life, as best as he can. A better life he believed than the one Lee could've given her. That's why I like him. He's just another broken soul in the world of TWD, who is partly a consequence of your actions. Or, more so, the actions of your group, depending on your choices.

But in season four when I’m brought to the option to either kill or spare Lilly I couldn’t bring my self to kill her and I got James killed. He wanted to steal the food, he shot AJ, he was the reason for Brody’s freak out & death, he attacked a bunch of kids, and yet I couldn’t bring myself to torture him or let him turn. Honestly the stranger is one of the best villains in that line up. He was one of the only villains that didn't have that "survival of the fittest mentality" he was just a very troubled man who wanted to be a dad again and get revenge for what Lee did to him. His logic does become flawed if you choose not to take the food from the car though, and he just hates Lee for subjecting clem to the horrors of the world as if there was any way he could prevent that

I think Lily is the main villain and is “The Final Boss” type. she was in season 1 and then she makes her return in season 4 and she is the final boss you need to get rid of to save your friends which is awesome. but it depends, if your talking about all time or of each season. of all time, Lily.
