Werewolves make me so sad. I appreciate the changes for them, past werewolves cry. We have a rule 0 that all werewolves can operate under day/night ruling.

Raiyuu, Storm's Edge is a great samurai, I made a pretty decent brawl deck with it

At the very beginning of the video you used a picture of a wolf to represent werewolves. But there are wolf decks out there too like tolsimir.

Zubera used to be actually a decent combo deck in pauper, still viable too.

Already see some love for Kithkins in the other comments but not one mention of Preeminent Captain. Could be because it targets Soldiers, but Ballyrush Banneret and Surge of Thoughtweft are an amazing combo. Splash in cards like Brave the Elements, Windbrisk Heights to proc Waves of Aggression. Even if you take out things like Field Marshal and the newish Esper Sentinels (to make more kithkin only), you bring in Wizened Cenn and I quite enjoyed Infiltrator lense before Sentinels were around to make up the draw. Other techs like Championing your Captains with a Thoughtweft Trio in case of a wipe are very fun.

Cats from old Mirrodin were also great with equipment. There were definitely decks that can be made. Gotta be S tier on this list.

But there were also humans in those decks. The point was not the cats, it was creatures that got extra effects when equipped.

@@thomasfplm I mean it was mostly the cats, and there were cards that did boost cats specifically also. It's just there were some humans that made it even better. I'd say it would still be worthy of S on this tier ranking. On the first tier ranking, probably not that high.

@@jlaw131985, I think the decks wouldn't work very well without the humans, specially the one that reduced the equipping cost and buffed all soldiers and knights while equipped. I think it was more of a soldiers deck than a cats deck.

I think dwarves are in a good position right now, having new pieces to play with from recent sets like kaladesh, kaldheim and brother's war with electrostatic Infantry

Agreed, Electrostatic Infantry getting pumped by Rimrock Knight's instant, Infuriate, Lunar Frenzy is amazing. Mono Red tribal Dwarves in modern is pretty viable option. Been also using X18 Mountains, 2X Dwarven Mine and 2X Forgotten Cave with Lighting Axe to discard the Mine or Cave whenever I pull them at the wrong time. Breakneck Berserker is like a nice Lighting Bolt later on. Twinscroll Shaman doublestrike with Magda and Torbran effect is pretty good, but again having the instant option when I don't pull Electrostatic Infantry is another option. Moderd red dwarves lacks a 1 mana creature now, but they have plenty of 2 mana creatures with useful ablitles. That's just mono Red. Dipping into white, Aerial Responder, Fairgrounds Warden, Staunch Shieldmate are excellent picks that fit well into many pure dwarf decks.

tyrranid not bad but prity middle of the road also atler is amazing in comander due to eggs also captain lanery storm is amazing for pirates also chisuro is a prity good comander for samuri

Aurochs are oxen, not buffalo. Cats: Felidar Guardian, Lurrus (Yeah, yeah, she's so good she's banned), Feline Sovereign, Ajani's Pridemate, Bronzehide Lion, that goddamned Cauldron Familiar, Cubwarden, Kaheera, etc., etc. They can actually make up some semi-competitive decks.

Zubera are only really good in Araumi of the dead tide commander decks. Being able to spam 3 death triggers consistently with one activation is amazing

Ok but Kithkin are actually super underrated as a tribe. Every single time I'v seen someone play Kithkin tribal at a Modern event, people laugh at them and then they get top 8. Meanwhile, more common tribes like Goblins or Elves often have poorer results.

i don't know how you can put zuberas in D tier. in a sacrifice and/or control deck with boardwipes, these zuberas were insane back in the kamigawa days. and the red ones would deal a substatial amount of damage. the 4 mana zuberas weren't that great iirc, but there still were zuberas in competitive decks alas i don't know for how long, but probably somewhere until timespiral?
