Xenoblade 2 is my favorite despite all its flaws. I really enjoyed the story and gameplay. Once the gameplay gets moving it becomes incredibly satisfying.

xenogears is side by side with Xenoblade Chronicles. XC has more interesting plot easy going, great battle system, but XG will have deeper plot and better story yet confusing for some people. but once you understand it will blow your mind.

I didn't play Torna by itself, but I DID play it before XBC2. I played the wheels off XBC2 after, but I still prefer Torna, and I think it's fine to only play Torna. If anything, it's weird how Torna feels more like a complete story than XBC2. Torna doesn't even directly depict the most impactful events in XBC2's flashbacks, which is weird as heck; retroactively, I was like, "Why is the game showing me so much of THIS and not THAT?" XBC2 could have REALLY used a sorta Squall/Laguna perspective volley between the modern day/past crew.

@@xenosanctum2531 Wow, that is a shame. The game has aged much better than most games of its time (original ff7 for instance) because instead of weird blocky polygons the characters are all charming 2D pixel sprites. The cutscenes all have incredible cinematography as well (not just for its time, I say this even compared to modern videogames) most notably due to the dynamic camera movement and overall shot composition. I played Xenogears for the first time last year and it completely blew me away in this aspect. I seriously doubt a full 3D remake could capture half of the artistry that the original did due to how games are budgeted and developed nowadays.

I didn't find the soundtrack in 3 to be underwhelming at all lol. It's not my favorite soundtrack but it's anything but Underwhelming. The massive amount of master level storytelling with the music is something the other games lack.

I think each of the Xenoblade games have a soundtrack that is very carefully curated to fit the general style and tone of the game, 2 just happens to be the more bombastic and in-your-face one, while 3 is more mellow and designed to evoke feelings of melancholy.

From the ones I played(from worst to better) -Saga 1 (didnt play 2 just custences) -if We count It FC -Xenogears -Torna -Saga 3( a lot higer than gears but I like the blades more) -blade 2( too minor problems to surpass the Other 2) -idk really how to put the Other 2 real now. I'm still with wow new thing and could say I like 3 more but maybe latter not that much. And 1 has a lot of emotional meaning for me so probably sharing spot Blade 1/blade 3

3>X>1>Torna>2 I replayed them all. 2 is fine but the gatcha, jobs, and leveling up small boosts on blades felt like work. Also I never got patroka as a blade and I really wanted her for my second play through. The game needs a heavy QOL update and remove the gatcha system or at least lower the pity by a long shot.

I feel like I acknowlged that my ranking of it is tentative. Its still a great game, I just like the Xenoblade games more. Also these are GAMES, thus gamplay is more improtant than story.

Somehow your German sounds French. The pronounciation of "Also sprach Zarathustra" is close enough, but the others are unrecognizable. Der Wille zur Macht: "Der" like in "Derrick", "Wil-" like in "William", "-le" like in "let's go", then pronounce "zur" like this: "tsoor" with the "oo" like in "zoom". For "Macht" the "Ma" is like in "mud", then it becomes hard, because the sound, that "ch" describes, doesn't exist in English, to reproduce it, it's similar to "sh", but the tip of your tongue is on your lower jar, instead of your upper jar. After that, just end it off with a "t" like in "part". Jenseits von Gut und Böse: "Jen-" like "Yen", "-seits" like "sites", "von" and "Gut" are already close enough already. The "u-" in "und" is like in "zoom", "-nd" is like the "-nt" in "ant", "Böse" is hard, as the sound, that "ö" describes, doesn't exist in most forms of english, though it seems to exist in some dialects f.e. "Bird" in New Zealand, it's basically the lip movement of a German "o", with the tongue placement closer to a German "e". To reproduce it, sharpen your lips and form them into a small "o" shape and put the tip of your tongue on the backside of your lower teeth. The result should sound somewhat similar to the vowel in "learn", but not exactly. The "s" here is like the english "z" and the "e" like in "the".

2 (blade) is by far the best, all the flaws I hear people talk about are more imperfections or related to personal taste than problems. 1 suffers of a poor gameplay and exporation+side content, 3 has too many narrative problems. gears is very good but doesn't top and saga3 is the only that can be compared to the rest of the games.

I quite like the gameplay in 1 and why the narative problems due annoy me in 3 I also have problems with the narative in 2. You can't just say only facts matter then drop opinions.

@@xenosanctum2531 2 has many problems, but. It doesn’t have big flaws, for example 1’s exploration is very insufficient, that doesn’t mean it isn’t enjoyable, and 3 story may be a good story but has lots of problems and poor writing. I enjoyed and loved every game, but I draw the line when I see people complaining about RELEVANT stuff but that aren’t a big deal and ofter they haven’t even problems. Even 2 has problems and I could talk about hours about them and this is just an opinion. But comparing for example “the gatcha is bad” which is not, and then not saying anything about the previous mmo-like old and poor system is curious, just as compiling about the first part of xc2 and then not complaining about 1/3 of xc1 being new map->walking straight 5 minutes cutting the map-> metal arrives with a new plan to catch pikachu-> loses -> new map, repeat. Or xc3 having such a bad ending and characters.

@@bianks3916 Again, personal opinions. In genral exploration in XC1 is better than 2 becuse the way point system in 2 is terible. Combat in 2 is way over enginered and is built of Driver combos which half the blades lack (hence why everyone plays Tora). Also thematically giving the blades such sugestive designs makes it very hard to take them seriously. You can always check out my full thoughts via my retrospecitves on this channel.

Xenoblade Chronicles X ends on a still unresolved cliffhanger so it isn't a black sheep for that reason.🤣 My biggest problem with Future Connected was the gameplay. Think about it Monolith Soft had heard from the community that AI Shulk and Melia were awful and Sharla was useless and they gave you a Sharla clone. Because of the lackluster party options you are given it's the worst combat in the franchise.

@@xenosanctum2531 I haven't even read the Perfect Works yet but Xenogears still exceeds every other Xeno game on how it slowly presents it's worldbuilding, other games try to replicate this, but they never quite reach that perfect pace and jaw dropping final reveal
