Ohtani's 15 wins with the Angels meant other strong teams won 18-19. Ohtani is also a player who can hit 40 homers and steal bases. The 2022 MVP is Aaron, but I personally think Ohtani is the top. But I think the reason the Angels with Ohtani and Trout can't win is because of the pitching staff. I think the Angels will become a strong team if they strengthen their pitching staff.
@noahmcdaniel4920 Жыл бұрын
The angels had the 9th best staff ERA in the MLB last year. And a bottom 5 offense. Which is why they went out and got 3 solid bats this offseason, and with Rendon returning and hopefully a full season of Regnifo's 2nd half production, nevermind bounce back candidates in Walsh and Stassi, or O'Hoppe having a good rookie season, this could be a really good team.
@ykyang5786 Жыл бұрын
@@noahmcdaniel4920 Yep, Ohtani, Saurez, Sandoval, and Deitmers all had ERAs under 4. Can't ask for more from starters. Their relief pitchers were also on par. Yes, maybe number 1 vs number 2, Trout never faced Ohtani even as teammates batting practice, we know they'll be pumped like me to see the ultimate matchup

I like the list although I would find a way to put Yordan in the top 10.

Kinda crazy that although Seager probably isn’t a future HOF or at least as of now.. he’s still a good enough player that had he stayed in LA he probably breaks their franchise home run record which is at 389 by Gil jodges. Assuming he’d stay healthy which is no lock with Seager.. kinda crazy to think of Seager being the dodgers all time homer franchise record holder considering it’s such a top notch organization

Andre’s gimenez could’ve made it in the 40s but there’s so many good players in the league and gimenez has one good year in 3. Love gimenez tho, I’m sure we’ll see him in the 30s next year.

@@JoeyZero123 There are two problems with your view firstly is one you thought about which is the stark difference in the ability to defend. The second and less obvious reason is the offensive output in a stadium, jram home stadium is less friendly to hitters than Rafael devers home stadium.

Last 2 years he got 80 HR and 24 wins. Multiplied by 7.5, 600 HR and 180 wins. Half of these number is probably good enough to be in HOF.😁
