Also, Taker was too old to carry the stress of taking his streak forward and The Last thing, Turning Roman heel back then was the most appropriate option but nah I disagree, His mic skills, expression, storytelling. Everything sucked. He only improved after his return in Thunderdome. He had a chance to experiment. If they'd turn reigns heel then it would've been a complete failure.

That’s why John Cena is a GOAT because for these big match main events where he is allowed to actually wrestle and work the crowd is his best. John Cena is a person who will tailor his in ring performance to match the style of his opponent. Like vs The Miz who was slow and methodical. Cena matched that energy. Vs AJ, Cena matched that energy by doing things we don’t normally see out of Cena. Cena will push himself to match the person he is fighting if it is a big main event match and if he is allowed more freedom in the match. The less favorable Cena matches i feel were ones that WWE probably was involved in how they wanted the match to go

The only thing that holds it back from being the best for me is the overbooking of the finish and the fact that Cody lost which I still to this day don’t think that was the right call. Cody vs Roman at Mania 39 is a match that shouldn't be judged solely by the finish..it was a fantastic match, there was some awesome storytelling even in the entrances too, like Roman wasnt looking too cocky as he usually was and that made it look like he was going to lose, Cody breaking the guillotine...such little details made the match more interesting to watch

John is good in the ring, he’s just picked his spots differently in my opinion. I think the main event of WM 27 was bad simply cause it was built terribly and (like you said) used for a match they were building up a year later. Also never bought into the miz as a main event guy heel or baby face

Honestly, the only way I see of going back to a one-night Wrestlemania is if they make it 5 or 6 matches at max, but I don't want that. I like to see all the matches that we see each night. It gives a moment to shine to more superstars that otherwise wouldn't make it on the card. I've been liking the two-nights Wrestlemanias, it also makes the weekend feel more special.

Idk Santi Cena showed hes a great wrestler against KO and Aj it's just he never really uses his other moves. Can't say someone isn't bret heart or Shawn Michaels just because we never see them do the crazy moves.

Fun fact: the Miz actually suffered a concussion during his match with Cena WM 27. That’s why he looked so out of it and completely not himself when the match was over.
