As a cherries fan, I don't mind Andoni Iraola. He has been playing decent football everywhere except for the Etihad. Iraola has just been unlucky conceding 2 late goals otherwise we would be tied with Fulham on points playing a better style of football than last season even though at the end of last season Gary was also playing decent 4-2-3-1 football. Iraola needs to be like 18th or 19th to be sacked. The recent win against Newcastle really helped us. hopefully we survive.

Emery deserves to be first. They've continued with their terrific form from when emery joined last year and pretty much has been competitive to the level of the top 6 (+ newcastle) sides. Only thing missing for him is getting victories over the top 6 sides which would push him further ahead in the chase for ucl football.

Gary O'Neil is doing a fantastic job. Had no preseason with the squad, appointed days before the season started and without FOUR, yes FOUR howlers from VAR could be sitting as high as 6th place right now. You say we fluked Man City but Dawson had Haaland in his back pocket for 90 minutes and we kept chances to a minimum. He had a rocky start but c'mon, he was basically signing his contract in the dugout on opening day. I was as sceptical as the next person but boy, has he proven me wrong and I couldn't be happier about that, there is once more a feel good feeling around Molineux not seen since the Nuno days.

While I don't disagree with the Hodgson ranking... Franca came injured, Eze and Olise picked up injuries as well, at one stage, Palace had 11 plays out injured, half of them would either start or would be fighting to come off the bench. Now most are back from injury the likes of Franca, Ahamada and Rak-Sakyi need to be off the bench with more time on the pitch so they can get up to speed and actually make a difference

I am biased, but Emery should be top. The games we have dropped points in, Newcastle and Liverpool away are two of the toughest games you'll play all season, and in the Newcastle game we self imploded after the Mings injury, the game was neck and neck before it. Forest away is a deceivingly tough place to go, they haven't lost there in ages, and imo it was one of those days where we play that game another 9 times, we win like 8 of them and draw one. Wolves is a bogey game for us, so a point there, with city and spurs losing there, isn't as bad of a result as it seems. Not to mention Mings, Buendia, Moreno and Ramsey all being out so far this season, all crucial to our exceptional run last season, punishing Unai because we have a stronger squad than Howe's newcastle feels unfair considering we are 5 whole points ahead with only 12 games played. We are 3 points off of top, i would've called you mental, like truly mental for us to be in this position a third of the way through the season.

My top 5 this season are 1. Arteta (most goals scored, least conceded, top of the league) 2. Klopp (almost as good as arteta and smartest signings) 3. Guardiola (not much reason tbh, just better than ange but worse than klopp and arteta) 4. Postecoglou (took Tottenham from 8th to 4th and just massive improvements throughout) 5. Iraola (made bournemouth into a pretty formidable team against all expectations. I would say emery but villa havent been in the best form recently tbh)
