On Ranneeti, Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu tells us about the controversial hug he shared with Pakistan army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa; and also about the discussion he had with external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj over requesting Pakistan to open Kartarpur Sahib passage to enable Indian pilgrims to visit the gurudwara. Union minister and Akali Dal leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal had earlier told in a press meet that Sidhu was 'reprimanded' by Swaraj for having 'messed-up' with India-Pakistan dialogue over the matter. I am from Pakistan and was always a fan of Navjot Sidhu as a cricketer. Now I am evern bigger fan of Sidhu as a human being and great advocate of peace and Punjab. That's the reason, the Congress Cm of Punjab, Amarinder Singh, a Sikh himself turned down the invite to visit Pakistan. What aurpothe Pakistani establishment was Amarinder not coming. Sushma not coming to Kartarpur was always expected because she is from Central Government and at least till elections next May there will be no hope for talks. It is also interesting to note that the former Maharaj of Patiala, CM Amarinder is an ex Captain on the army.
