The green content is warm water and electrolytes

I would think its because there's a sphincter in the stomach connecting it to the duodenum that will stop the hose from continuing

Yes, she's heavily sedated for this. We had to stay with her for a good hour at least after the vet was done to ensure she woke up enough to leave her.

If there's a name for it I don't know what it is. My wife tells me that some people refer to it as "oiling" the horse. The most important factors seem to be: that the mineral oil is not digestible (unlike other types of oil), and that the oil is put directly into the stomach (rather than attempting to get the horse to drink it).
