Fill-in memes =/= a hilarious meme. I'm surprised DA didn't take down these "memes" as they are not considered "art" on DA, as I know that DA is meant for art. It's in the name "DeviantArt" for a reason. I also hate how they post these so-called "memes" as a tribute to a deceased person when they could've just drawn something that's dedicated to a person that sadly died. You don't see me posting these memes, and I never wanted to make these memes because they're not funny and I don't consider them art. I like a good meme if has effort put into them to make me laugh, but these "memes" fell flat. The Loud House fandom is an infamous example of this. Lemme say that I do actually like The Loud House regardless of the problems I have with the show, and I do genuinely dislike "No Such Luck", but I know it's just an episode, and I know Lincoln Loud is gonna be okay in the next episode, the same with his family. I just despise the fanbase due to taking the show way too seriously like it's the best show ever when there are other well-known shows like SpongeBob, Looney Tunes, and others that are more cartoony than TLH. Coming from a Loud House fan, I don't see fill-in memes funny at all and DA should do a better job with dealing with spam on DA. I'm staying on DA regardless, and I still draw and make art on that site because that's what DeviantArt is meant for. And you know, I find it sad that some people who make these memes are in their 30's when they could do something better, like drawing. You did a good job critiquing those said fill-in memers on DA, and you're not the only one who genuinely dislikes these "memes". It's also sad how one of your fans did fill-in memes despite you hating them. I saw that on Spacey's Package fandom critique. Nice job!

I've said before that I consider fill-in-memes and other such images to be considered spam. Especially if there are countless variants of the meme out there and the user posts it en masse. My only guess as to why dA doesn't remove them is because it'd be tricky to define what's spam or not. I could justify this only if the moderation was done automatically and not by humans like dA currently does. They're an eyesore that makes using the platform even harder especially when the site was meant for art-posting. Already bad enough that most of what gets uploaded there is of the lowest quality imaginable yet grab tons of faves and traction. I'd say it's a problem with the community, but I also blame the platform for not regulating this behavior which allowed fill-in-memes especially from cartoonaboos to dominate the site. dA should be a platform prioritized on art, and not on memes which would work better just about anywhere else. It's especially bad there since there's next to no variety and it feels like the users are all part of a giant echochamber. Gonna blame that one infamous cartoon complainer for that since they were one of the most popular users on the platform when they were still on it, and no doubt influenced a ton of his audience of future cartoon complainers.

The fact that these fill-in memes get more favorites over amazing artwork made me sick into my stomach. Two points 1. I actually knew about Megaman Sonic and I’m questioning over what’s worth the hatred. For example, many an bunch of “killed” memes over wrestlers from WWE because they’re heels. (I know some involved real life incidents, but other happened inside of kayfade) 2. The Loud House fanbase must be really thin skins if they still holding grudges over bad or mediocre episodes. 88 memes over Save The Date. It’s an different choice than No Such Luck (or The Green House from Season 1), but come on. o-o;

I feel like fill-in memes were around deviantArt before the Loud House debuted (just not as common); but as soon as that show debuted, these fill-in memes started multiplying like rabbits. ESPECIALLY in regards to their least favorite episodes (I for one am honestly shocked about the whole 88/90 memes about Save the Date). Of course, there is still the No Such Luck hate train that has been chugging on for four years and seems like its not slowing down anytime soon. I'm pretty sure all those memes are basically its fuel...or maybe just the outrage from these fools over an eleven minute piece of animation. It is just absurd that all these memes show just about every fictional character (or a somewhat huge portion of them) feeling sorry for some eleven-year-old boy like some he is kind of Chosen One. I just...ugh! Also, Bank Geeks! LOL!

LtColonelWhipper here from DA. I made a Meme once which was like four stages. With Soldier using a Drawing tablet which progressively gets more stressed each image before then going ballistic and fiery out of rage in the last panel, it...was rectangular...It isn't a fill in meme but still better than...these. Yeah...it's very annoying and just sad seeing these lazy, uncreative trash all over the site, its like watching an endless warzone of people making reactions and jabs at each other while me and others just watch it play out like spectators. And...ugh...the Loud House is really overrated...and it's already went down the drain in quality and i couldn't care less about it. As a DeviantArt User myself I also find these Fill-In Memes very worthless, effortless, pointless, & come off very annoying! I myself like to fill in the "Controversy" Memes about my Likes/Dislikes of any Franchise/Series that I find to be alot more fun in a sense, sure they aren't that big of a deal nor should be taken too seriously but hey I kind of enjoy expressing myself a little... While I have no clue who started fill-in memes (even before The Loud House comes to light), my point here that fill-in memers like Epic-Wrecker, funnytime77, MASTUHOSCG8845ISCOOL, Frankmaster61, TGDC20610, and certain users are the one cause DeviantArt downfalls with unoriginal content and butthurt hate memes out of their hateboners and internet trolls. Don't bother convinced me that they're "good users" bullshit, considering a-logging and drama king & drama queen.

Okay, you have proven some points, but given that you mentioned my Deviantart account, you got me all wrong. I'm not exactly a 'fill-in memer' like those guys, I'm just a guy with sense who means well a lot being put in family matters, and I just make those 'memes' for fun, that's all. And I'm not one of those users who are making the website's downfall. It's probably the admins who don't know what they're doing, that's all. And I don't exactly hate certain hateboners and trolls like FlamesOfDestruction4 here. If anything, I'd be just angry at their stupid biase or just ignore them, rather than hate on them. Because of well, as I get older, I became much more aware on how bad can one of my old ideas be. In addition, I am also done with people like Megamansonic/Theshadowsega75 and HeavyDaBoss because of well, a genuinely good majority of their ideas are becoming more childish, bad, horrible and immature in retrospect. By contrast, I can feel thankfully relieved that RedPandaGirl2K5 and dagga19 at least had some form of decency to not constantly bad-mouth things like Love Hina (RPG2K5 had genuinely good reasons to dislike it) and many kinds of JRPGs that aren't named Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy.
