In my championship mode, I was doing a 100 lap race at Daytona, 10 to go, I am in the lead when all of the sudden Ricky Stenhouse gets turned in turn 4, I can’t avoid it, I make contact and get a dnf. The game doesn’t put you in 40th, ur finishing position will say dnf. Also, there were 3 other cars that had parked before me, so I should’ve finished 37th. This dnf feature needs to be fixed. Also the lime green rims glitch is STILL HERE 😖

Best way to removed the “wiggles” is by dropping down to 2nd gear while breaking. At that point you are using the transmission to help brake and not relying on just the brakes alone.

Like, I get that you're mad but you should've known that this game was not going to be good. The last four games have shown that as long as they use this game engine they'd be awful. I'm honestly surprised that people bought this game and are still playing it. This game is nowhere near worth what they charge. The fact that they still have the Nascar contract for the next four or five years and this is the product they are producing is a damn shame. The fact that a game from the PS2, that is 15 years old, is 10x better than this game is sad. Everyone that produced this game should take no pride in the game. It's even more shameful that Nascar has an esports league on this horrendous game. With simulators around they should be the only ones hosting a Nascar esports league.

Look, I understand your frustration with some of the physics in this game, but Unity isn't the problem. It's the developers that put in the physics in the game. Unity is a very powerful engine and can easily handle a racing game of this size if programmed properly. I totally agree with you on the horsepower rant. I have experienced the same thing in the game. Custom setup, full throttle, but I lose spots like a sitting duck because I'm a full 2 seconds slower than every other car. But once again, this IS NOT Unity's fault. This all has to do with the programming. I develop games myself, so if you disagree, I'd like to hear WHY you feel like it is Unity's fault

As a wheel owner, I love the alternation between controller and wheel. I'm also a big f1 fan and nascar fan due to my euro/southern parents. (Forza Ferrari! Forza Italia! Forza Ferrari!). It’s not the physics of the game. Know when you should down shift and up shift. That’ll reduce the times your car lifts and you spin out. It’s actually pretty realistic.

The F1 videos are more entertaining. Whatever place you're in, even if it's 15th, you're battling all race long with one or two guys. HEAT it seems you just linger at the back of the pack, your car cannot go as fast as anyone else on straightaways, you make a pass and the other cars instantly go 10mph faster and cut right past you no matter what you do. Only hope of winning is timing the cautions right. DNFs may be a bit sensitive, but face it most times they happen because you're switching menus, hit pit road too fast, hit wall, etc. I don't blame you cuz you're doing 85 laps and recording a video and talking, but it's not really like the game is just throwing you into walls on its own. Anyway, I'm up for more F1 videos. HEAT seems like you kind of have to luck out to get into a real good race. F1, you're always battling.

Radman, what I ended up having to do once I had the funds to do in career mode on Heat 4 was put the aero and suspension both at 100. This takes those variables out of the equation. Then I had to use some trial and error for the engine to see what speed would make me a top 5 or top 10 car at each track. For example Atlanta on Hard difficulty I run 89, 100, 100 and usually get a top 5. At Dega 84, 100, 100. The Glen 83, 100, 100. Most tacks I was between 88 - 92 on engine. That gives me the racing I am looking for and using that formula gives me close racing and usually a top 10 or top 5 with a win every once in a while. I did this for trucks, xfinity and cup. Yes it took a while, but now I know every race I do is going to be competitive and the playoff battles are intense.

I once had to deal something identical to another game and all I did was switch over to another game until I either get the urge to play it again or the game gets fixed. i'm not buying heat 5 because they can't even get all the full time drivers in the game on top of the fact that they rushed it and it's super glitchy and the exact same as all the other games since heat 3. I honestly don't even have hope for 704 to get heat 6 right since they'll be working on a new engine, but if they can't get heat 7 right then there's NO excuse at that point.

Alan Mchugh literally anything is worth a shot at this point like I used to always back 704 because I used to just love the fact that there WAS a new nascar game back with heat evolution and heat 2 becuase I hadn’t ever seen thunder 04, NR2003 or iRacing at that time since I was pretty young so I thought it was all cool and didn’t understand why everyone was complaining. Fast forward to this year where I see that they can’t even get the drivers right, have a glitch for months with your custom rim color being stuck on yellow have homestead look like it’s on another planet during a hurricane and have cars handle how they do in the vid on road courses as well as making the AI stupid enough to where my man here can outcycle an entire green flag pit stop on them and just so many more things....I was gonna stop but then I remembered the paint booth 😂😂😂Holy crap maybe in the 5 years you could allow us to pick from more than like 5 default car designs and one in career mode , no one cares you have a color wheel for the spoiler 704 no one cares that you have the ability to pick any color of the rainbow for your rims (which glitch to turning yellow of course). There’s only a small select amount of sponsors you can choose from even though they could quite easily copy and paste all of them. And boy oh boy career mode. Oh god career mode. The SAME exact storyline since heat 3! Start in the stupid frickin made up dirt tour even though they can pick from MULTIPLE REAL LIFE NASCAR AFFILIATED AND OWNED Series like late models or modifieds or ARCA. But knowing how these games work they wouldn’t be able to go on racing reference and find 20-30 drivers of those series and put them and their cars in their game knowing that they have Justin Haley , Bobby bloody carter and Harrison burton in cup rather than full time rookie Brennan Poole and majority of the schedule reed Sorensen and Garrett smithley and bj McLeod. I’m sure if they even CONSIDERED arca they’d see that there’s like 7 full time drivers , they’d add in 5 of them and scratch their heads as to what drivers their missing since each ARCA race has 25 ish cars in them. So yeah honestly better to have fictional dirt then see them to try mash like the top 3 guys from each Nascar roots series into some “ARCA” division with probably Kyle Busch and Bobby Carter in it somehow. Is that enough of a rant guys ?? I would keep going with their career mode DNF’s and copy and paste storyline but I already covered that in another comment and now my fingers are sore 👌

I think one of the major problems concerning motivation running as a backmarker compared to the F1 games is, that you compete for kinda high sponsorship goals and you can´t earn ressource points for upgrades and there are no facilities to upgrade. It makes running in the back pointless, while in the F1 games you are still working towards a better car/team in every session. Also running ovals in such a bad car sucks. In F1 you still can try to beat your teammate or try to be faster every lap, which is pointless on ovals. They need to step up their game design!

Ryan Johnson, the director of "Star Wars, the last jedi." told people who were passionate about star wars who didn't like his film to stop supporting star wars, the thing they love. he is a cunt and everyone hates him because of this. he tried to get longtime fans of the series, who supported it and made it what it is today, too stop liking it, to forget about that passion, kind of like you. so as a final note i want to say this to you, fuck off cunt, don't try to drive people away from their passion. its a real asshole move.

You should turn off 4x wear at road courses. Your tires are worn out after 2 laps and you haven’t adjusted breaking points and still aggressive on the throttle. Essentially at 4x wear each lap handles completely different

hey Millad, if heat 5 isn't making you happy anymore, maybe you can make F1 2020 or your IRacing your feature series on the channel & just switch the priorities, or stop NH5 in general for now, as i fan. i hope this career isn't that draining to you :(

I saw you had more grip turned on for your car - maybe try more effect on tire wear for the AI? I know it seems like cheating to cheese the AI, but it seems like the game isn't giving you any other choice
