Bro was averaging 27 assists per season..at Madrid .."AVERAGING" that's insane AND WAS 23 at that time.. - had most assists in Madrid's entire history in that particular duration or games played.. (They kept his boot in Madrid's museum for that) - most assists in 2010 wc ..2012 euros - most assists in all of Europe for that TIME over all top 5 leagues.. IF HE STAYED AT MADRID..instead of playing with Walcott and welback and coquelin..😂 OZIL IN ASSISTS would have probably been the best..even better than messi..

Ozil in 2015/16 season had the best creative season in PL history. Ozil had 16 assist in 18 PL games by December. Set a PL record for most assist in consecutive games, a record he still holds. Giroud had a disasterclass season & went 16 game goal drought & Walcott was having his worst season in years. Ozil finished with 19 assist still smashed the chances created record with 149 chances created, most in a season in Europe top 5 leagues ever. Ozil was the fastest ever to 50 PL assist, De Bruyne recently broke Ozil PL record. But remember Ozil only played 25 games his first season, had injuries. Ozil first fit season in PL he was the best playmaker by far. Ozil has set record for chances created in PL, La Liga, Bundesliga, UCL. Ozil was top assist provider in Bundesliga, La Liga, Premier League, World Cup, Euro's, UCL, UEL. One of the best passers of the ball outside of Messi, I've ever seen. Cesc, De Bruyne are up there.

Not building a strong team around him and Alexis cost us a league title and probably more than that. Özil under Wenger had 108 goal contributions in 196 games, thus having a higher (goals+assists)/games ratio(55%) than both Fabregas(50%) as well as DB10(52%) under Wenger. Özil was a very good player for us during majority of his time at the Emirates. The disrespect he gets from some of our fans is extremely sad and disgraceful. Hopefully history will be more kind to this man who made the term 'assists' more relevant in today's game.

Yo bro, big up for the REACTS Series and the twitch content. My take on Ozil is that he is a very unselfish player, and I think he used to enjoy the assist for a goal more than actually scoring it. I have seen him, on multiple occasions, passing the ball to the striker or any other player when he could have taken a shot himself.

As an Arsenal fan, I disagree a bit. Wasn't until much later that people began to disrespect him. The truth is he is a player that has a lot of ups and downs, which is normal. People have debated about him since 2013, you can find all sorts of discussions on the internet about him but he was 'protected' until about 2017.

@@juuglord8509 id say that the weaknesses in his game really crippled us in a lot of games, when we didnt have the ball the man was just dead weight, we didnt do anything tactically to make up for this. Hes just not someone i want on our team wasting his energy running around like a headless chicken in our own half tryna win the ball back, it completepy obfuscated his ability to function as the lynchpin in our attack, as well as overburdening him, and getting exposed like that week in and week out, no surprise he hecame the target of our fambases ire. We failed to effectively utilize him, and it really is such a damn shame

Im an arsenal fan & Ozil was one of my favourite player. He was unreal 90 percent of his time at arsenal even slightly towards the end. I say this to say that he was heavily hated on by some people because arsenal wasn't going anywhere quote on quote and he couldn't score more goals to help the team, or even press hard/ work harder off the ball but he isn't that kind of player. oh and arsenal failed him for sure by not putting him around the right players because they knew his weaknesses. plus as he got older he started slowing down, they say he had regular back pain/problems etc. then arsenal froze him out probably had to do with some political & and the fact they couldn't accommodate for him because they didn't want to. There's probably way more going on that the public don't know. But it surely can't be his fault the dead finishers couldn't finish their dinner when put on a plate. Ozil got sheeged 😂🤣

Ozil was such a smart player. Didn’t run around crazy but when the ball was his feet, he was magical. Quality of players from RM to ARS was a big difference. The only thing Ozil seemed to lack was his shooting ability and resilience in tight games, or games that weren't going his team's way. If he had that, he would have been one of those players that could win games on his own. I think those weaknesses in his game was what put the microscope of criticism on him when Arsenal weren't playing well, seeing he was their most expensive signing ever. Being the most expensive passer of the ball wasn't really what Arsenal needed at the time, or it wasn't enough on its own. So I don't really think it's so much disrespect, I just think Arsenal paid too much for Ozil. If Ozil came in for £20-£25m at the time, I don't think he would have had as much pressure on him.

Ozil was terribly misunderstood by English media. Alot of the players at Arsenal were not levels! He was for me the most creative player in the Premier league apart from De bruyne, Eden hazard and Fabregas at that time.
