At this point it would not be a surprise. To us Utd fans we see this club as a great club but the reality is very different from an outsiders perspective. Most top managers would go nowhere near this club & for good reasons. When ETH leaves here he will be in high demand, clubs like Bayern Barca etc will look to get Erik as their manager. And the Utd circus will keep going around in circles like the last 11 years.

Then ask yourself....why does Nacho play over Amad? Why was Jadon dropped for bad performances and not Rashford? Why did Donny not get a chance but Bruno is still here? Forsen was forced to play to sign a new contract yet Amad was sat on the bench... Clearly there are decisions being made above the manager but its easier to scapegoat Ten Hag. Ralf, Jose, LVG all said similar things when they left...but now it's just a coincidence again becoz its Ten Hag? Lol you people will never learn until you end up with Southgate.

So clear Hojlund isn't a striker. During the Liverpool game there was a free kick where the ball is hit out to the right and then crossed back into the box. Hojlund gives up on his run and no one is at the far post for a tap in. His movement is peak naive.

Strikers base their runs on repetitive patterns/intuitive situations. Just like when KDB receives the ball Haaland then knows when to peel off onto the CBs shoulder or when to dart towards the backpost. Same with when Trent recieves the ball, the striker knows when to start moving into dangerous positions. Hojlund cannot do any of this because the providers around him (Rash/Nacho/Bruno) have no set pattern which indicates when Hojlund should come alive. The best striker in the world would drown in this team based on the same reasons.

I rate Hajj ball knowledge at times but his being a hypocrite in his defense of Rasmus Hojlund..the same argument his using to defend him about the system not getting the best out of him..I remember him using that same logic to Bash Pogba,Martial and Sancho..nah keep the same energy Hajj..Hojlund isn't good enough but u like him then just say that
