Nasty is a great hidden gem. It's not as reacted to because there's no official music video. It's such a slow trippy build into the Richardson solo. I love it. It's the one song of theirs I put on repeat.

The tone that’s on the lead guitar is a multi voicer effect. Tim uses it quite a lot. Off the top of my head he used it in Rich Kids, OD, and also on an internet money track

Love how genuine you are and how open you are to newer styles and genres for you. I have quite a bit of music I'd love to see you react to in the future.

One of my favorites is Drown, which is this very slow moving but melodic song and is just so smooth

Jason Richardson also plays on their song Aviator. It's a great track from their first album and the track that got me into them.

What's up my man :) I know I've seen it in your comments elsewhere, but their song Aviator from their first album also features Jason, so it's worth checking out.

OD, Yas, and Goose are definitely the next ones you gotta check out.

It would be interesting if you react to their old stuff, it sounds so Polyphia but different when it comes to style. I recommend you Ivory, Culture Shock, James Franco. Cool reaction!

I love all 3 of those. I also really love Amour from Renaissance too

the "tone" you talk about can be found on Tim Henson's plugin for guitarists by Neural DSP, so anyone can have his rough tone by plugging straight into a computer. Essentially he has midi notes that are expressed by his selection of guitar notes, he has a video talking about his plugin and how it can be used to make weirdass guitar tones

Imma say it again you should react to either periphery or monuments Some suggestions: Periphery - Prayer position Monuments - Cardinal Red feat. Mick Gordon Monuments - Makeshift Harmony
@zonerghost89242 жыл бұрын
Hey man, in the beginning of the reaction you were asking about how Tim gets the tone on the guitar riff, pretty much he uses an effect called a multivoicer which I’m 70% sure he created with the company Neural DSP, speaking of he actual made a song which is a single that came out with the release of this plugin (kinda like a trailer). U should react to it someday. Keep up the hard work!

If you like bASS then I recommend you listen to the Omnific. They feature polyphia’s bassist clay on the song “Antecedent” so I recommend that one first. After that my favorite songs from their most recent album are: Merlin’s Id The Labyrinth Chronicles Matai Ne Plus Ultra

Still Havent done OD or YAS from Polyphia yet. YAS features the 2 guitarists from Chon. Its def a vibe. OD is one of their more technical songs. Both are awesome.

Would love to see you react to some Gojira. Stranded or Flying Whales might be good starting points.

ayyy such a good song especially turned up 100% in the car with a nice sound system. I'll switch my suggestion up and recommend Ice Nine Kills - Funeral Derangements. Ice nine kills makes songs after horror movies, funeral derangements is based off pet cemetery and is my favorite of theirs. and it actually has a music video instead of spinning snakes.

YES YES ICE NINE KILLS LETS GO

Definitely going to suggest "Disobey" or "Aeon" by Crystal Lake. I mean, almost any Crystal Lake song would work too though, you won't be disappointed

Hey man, new subscriber here. I'm gonna suggest "NOLA" by a band called VRSTY. It sounds like a metal band with an R&B singer you'll really enjoy it man

I know you're on the Polyphia train currently, but I am still waiting for Wintersun - Sons of Winter and Stars (Live at sonic pump studio). :) There isn't anything specific in that song that I want you to focus on because it just needs to be experienced as it is(it's super epic), but I will tell you this. The mixer for that song has over 1600 different tracks on it so there are layers upon layers upon layers upon layers in the song. Often times when I listen to it I hear something new and I've listened to it hundreds of times.
