I know people who love other Hardcore bands who still just can't get into Knocked Loose because they can't listen to Bryans "screechy" vocals. But you're throwing shit, walking off in awe, you're pulling the stank face... You're not a "Rap fan" anymore, you're a metalhead at heart, and i love to see it. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone that hasn't experienced this music much experience and appreciate it in the same way I did the first time I heard it two decades ago. So many people write it off so quickly and never consider revisiting it ever again, and seeing you go through the same motions I did with a completely open mind just feels good. Knocked Loose has been my favorite band for almost a decade and they just keep getting better and better. They are considered post-hardcore or hardcore. Interesting.. Knocked Loose is seen as some of the most aggressive metal right now. I would name a band from Sweden, called Imminence. The front singer does super sweet clean singing, and harsh... And the kicker, he does it while playing the violin. Super interesting, talented music. And as a fun fact, they do some insane music videos to, following sort of the same universe "story" super high production, almost like a small tv show. A live concert from them, to really get the feeling of the music, and him going between clean and harsh. And playing the violin. I would really like to see how you would react to something like Fleshgod Apocalypse since they are death metal but with classical music influence. It actually goes so hard and it's a really unique experience! I recommend the song Sugar and the word "sugar" being a reference to drugs because the lead vocalist's friend overdosed on heroin and he made a song sharing his experience on it. Our band was Third World Abortion. We were a 3 piece and we rented 3 of 5 apartments this one house had. So we called out place the abortion clinic and we used to throw down. I think that if you have questions, they are probably like all the questions that I and most of their fans had when we first stumbled upon this genre. There are many metal vocalists that can do extremely high and extremely low vocals back to back. Will Ramos from Lorna Shore and Ian Bearer from Rings of Saturn are two of my favorite examples. Senseless Massacre from Rings of Saturn and SunEater by Lorna Shore are two examples of what I mean. Great videos, Teddy!
