Remember that scene from Paper Mario TTYD where the pianta confesses his love 100 times? This is basically that, but in Vtuber form.

Here's the legend for the English/Japanese rap lines:
だいスキ (daisuki) = "Into you!"
マジだいスキ (maji daisuki) = "Crazy into you!"
スキなんだ (suki nanda) = "All about you!"
ホント (honto) = "Fo' sho'!"

This stream is from quite a while ago (in the before-times when the world was a simpler place...), but it's very good. The objective was to 100% Rhythm Heaven in one continuous stream, and there's many great moments. I might try to translate some other bits, but a lot of it is just Ayame making noises (aka what we're all here for) so you should go check out the full stream if you're interested!

What gen did did you get into first? 4th for me. Simpler times indeed. Not a gatekeep just genuinely wondering.

@@FearlessSpecialist hmmmm I believe Matsuri was how I discovered Hololive at first, but in terms of which gen I started following in the beginning I think it was the Gamers.

I definitely started with Gamers. Fubukis memes were the first thing, but I quickly got into OkaKoro, and then Pekora and Rushia after that. Then I landed with the KawaYOni, and I haven't looked back since. I casually follow all clips, but I watch every Ayame clip I see. I've even made a few, on a different channel.

i'm learning japanese now and these rhythm games actually help me learn because i feel like the pronunciation is cleaner. I actually got like 5 or 6 phrases out of this. thank you

What would you say if I told you in a later section there's a tap dancing one, and the camera is entirely focused on her legs attempting to tap dance along with it?

Damn this is a dangerous clip. Getting simultaneously attacked by Ojou's cuteness on one side and FBK's on the other.

I would like to know how 'スキなんだ' (sukinanda) meant 'All about you'. Is it just a slang?
@RSEalltheway
@RSEalltheway 2 жыл бұрын
Just a syllable thing. They don't share the same meaning but it's a rhythm game so syllables are more important than meaning.

It's not a direct translation. The words are actually directly taken from the english localization of rhythm heaven. It makes it so those who have played the game recognize the lines, but it's a bit strange for those who haven't and know the Japanese. I'm a huge fan of how this was translated

I never got the point of this stage. Most of the replies are on the beat, but the “hontos” are not. Was there some kind of off-beat thing they were trying to teach you?

They're using the phrases from the English version of the game. Sometimes localization is used rather than a direct translation.
