Happy new year! This video took about 14 million times more editing than expected, but we finally made it! Next up will be a couple promised videos in the channel discord and subchannel, followed by Aqua and Shion's horror watchalong.
Note that Subaru and Belmond are watching together right before Endgame was released, and Fubuki is watching by herself a couple years later.

Came back to watch this, and Belmond mentioned something I missed. Spider-man is the only one who says he doesn't feel good way before he goes, while others are still confused because his spider-sense tells him something bad happening.

Peter's spider sense would have told him that his entire body was in unavoidable risk of death. I couldn't think of much better to say that I don't feel good. And Mantis would have felt an encroaching wave of fear traveling through minds before they vanished. We didn't see it but Captain marvel should have seen/felt something this big just before it happened as she generally has precognition. It is hard to imagine the dread feeling such a large scale unavoidable catastrophe coming.

Endgame is a serviceable ending. Not perfect and full of holes, that is to be expected with anything concerning time travel, but truly a passionately made movie. Can't say the same for most of what Marvel's pumping out nowadays.

Those who DESERVED their place and gave Marvel a place among the greats of movie productions stopped or were cast aside. Marvel was the cool kids club for far too long and they blacklist actors, while overwhelm the actors that remain. Unless they bring some heavy duty quality control and some passion back, there is no hope of it coming back.

It's not. Both Avengers and Thanos could win instantly in many different ways, plot hinges on heroes being really dumb, power levels are all over the place, and Strange's plan is a lazy writer's excuse.
