The living standards in all the wealthy european countries are much better than in most parts of the united states and the per capita income is also pretty similar. Of course pros make a lot more money in NA, but that doesn't mean that your average worker also makes more money there than in the EU. I personally wouldn't want to live in the USA and if I did, I'd get the hell out of there real fast. I think in terms of quality of live, NA really is inferior in almost every way (when looking at countries like Switzerland, Sweden, Germany etc.), not a single EU pro would go to NA if it wasn't for the money. But it's okay, I think it tells a lot about a player when they go for the money instead of going for their best shot at winning.
