I liked that you guys realized Vocodahs complexity. To simplify the sound complexity of beatboxing you can compartmentalize it into a few categories. Category 1 is Lips. Category 2 is Tongue. Category 3 is Voice. You can make a sound using all 3 of those at once. For example, the Beatboxer D-Low can do a inwards liproll (breathing in lip vibration) while doing a tongue roll (vibrating tongue against side or roof of mouth) and then also vocalizing it by "singing inwards". It gets really complex when you consider beatboxers have figured out how to make inwards and outwards variations of the majority of sounds. It really helps maintain the constant flow whereas you hear a lot more straight breathing in classic beatboxing. Vocodah has focused so heavily on Inward Bass and its many variations. Vocalized, non-vocalized, sub-bass, high-pitched polyphonic inwards..etc..

You truly need to check out "Napom - Groove King"! Napom is not only phenomenal, but a LOT of what he does in that video is freestyle. It was be a great video to react to because: 1. Sound quality is great 2. There are techniques in there you haven't seen yet 3. He's the guy who invented/perfected inward lip rolls 4. He does some random funny shit that would make for funny reactions from you/guests

I’ve been beatboxing for about 15 years now (I’m not nearly as good as the people you are reacting to, but pretty decent). The trick to doing 2 sounds at the same time is using different parts of your mouth. Find sounds you can make with your lips & tongue at the same time. Then focus on your breathing. Certain techniques require breathing in, some require breathing out. Since you have to do both to live, find groups of sounds to do together while breathing out & groups to do while breathing in. Pair those groups together and suddenly you can do 4 sounds at the same time.

A yo wassup I'm here to help your beat box... essentially the beat only requires lips mouth and tongue... for example there's words you can use to amplify those beat sounds, for example "boots n cats" one I like which is just techno beat is saying "beans" over n over... can use veggies for example "beets n carrots beets eets n carrots" to get a basic beat going... then just start humming something familiar, my go to is the super mario theme... practice practice practice
