The last time I saw my father alive he was in a hospice bed. I poured my heart out for an hour at his bedside, clearing out years of things between us. In the end I told him how much I loved him and asked him to just let go. I like to believe it was all that he was hanging on for. Two hours after I got home I got the call that he had passed. I can never hear this song without thinking of our last time together.

I think you are thinking about Ebb and Flow. The tide cycles lol. Say it fast and it's Ebbenflow runs around like butterflies....😂. Thanks for the laugh and the unintentional dad pun. I'm not dissing you, I love your channels and reactions I was just having some fun. For the record they say Eddie Vedder and Kurt Kobane sound like they sing with marbles in their mouth. So it can be hard to hear without official lyrics.

The Wilson sisters hated the makeover the record company forced on them. I blame the MTV influence that favored looks over talent in the videos. It is responsible in large part for the sad state of music today.

Thank you for sharing and being so open. I so sorry about the loss of your son🙏🏼 This song hits me the same way for the same reasons as you. Not just knowing Eric lost his son so tragically, but going into preterm labor and loosing my son. I cried as you talked through this one-feeling the same emotions. There’s a wonderful song by Coby Grant called Winter Bear you have a private listen too💗

Oh come on please react to " straight on" an up beat banger and Ann's vocals just blowing it out of the park and a song that the Wilson sisters hated but did it because Mutt Lange wrote it, intentionally for Don Henley, and heart liked Mutt so they did it and was a big hit even though it went against their beliefs, that was picking up a hitch hiker for a one night stand to get pregnant because her husband couldn't give her a child that she so much wanted!

Thank you for reminding me of all the great music I know and love - would love you to react to my fav 90s/2000s group of all time - Jamiroquai ( 3 number 1 albums in the UK, 26 million albums sold, Guinness Book of records for best selling funk album in history ) Hard to suggest a track out of so many hits - Canned Heat, Virtual Insanity, Love Foolosophy, Space Cowboy, Deeper Underground Little L, Runaway, Dynamite, White Knuckle Ride - so funky and smooth :)

Hi, Rapper didn't invent the music wheel, they use existing music and do samples or just speak the lyrics!😊 I think Lisa Stansfield was part of " EURO DANCE ", normaly there would be one or two female singer and a rapper but she did it on her own!?

The OG MJ was awesome. I think all of us old-timers would agree.... back in the day, there was nothing like him. His stage presence was impeccable, his love of true rock-n-roll was second to none, his dance moves? (duh!). He was the GOAT. such a sad loss, but that man could rock when he wanted to. Just look at the list of guitar players that he had on his albums!

In case anyone was curious, the song at the end of "I shot the sheriff" is called "it's bigger than hip hop" by Dead Prez. Which shows how talented Ren is because that song is a very fast RAP song from 2000 and sounds nothing like anything BM did. BUT Dead Prez def has quite a few lyrics around BM and his ideals and beliefs the pairing is so clever and GENIUS.

Sometimes, no matter the love and passion you have for your man, you have to save yourself or go down with him. We, I, am only human. The heart wants to be that crutch, so badly. Bibi said up front, dont give up, be strong like the man I know you to be. That was the tell. She couldnt run the course because he could not reach that strength and the man she knew he could be. Loving does not stop. But in the words of Ren in Hi Ren, we are only human. And our hearts break into a thousand pieces when we walk from our true love saving ourself and our children, when our heart wants to stay and love him and fix him. Because we, I, am only human.

😂😂you trip me out😂😂. You're 2 yrs younger than one of my sisters & 2 yrs older than the other. They know this song. It was huge. I gotta know your story. For being in the hip hop field. It's a pleasant surprise everytime 😊 you learn more about various artists and genres. We grew up in a remarkable, historical era. It could never be duplicated.
