Laura - "Hold my beer, im just gonna smash out this beyonce song real quick." Looks like your heart melted a bit there Joe. Their sustainability on notes is so good. Their vibrato is insane. And the climb in the notes is so impressive. Such an intimate setting for the audience with Laura just strolling around them. Probably only 100 lucky people in that room, it would have been such a good experience. Thanks again Joe for your reaction.

As a musician I loved seeing the bass play running the lead. He was keeping everyone locked in. When we saw him circling his hand he was letting the band know “hey let’s keep building here”. Meaning not so much the tempo like we are going to slow. But let’s keep gradually increasing the volume as well as the tempo. Let’s let this moment really marinate and the emotion build. So friggen good all around!

You would LOVE LP’s “Tokyo Sunrise.” The official music video is fantastic and it is the first song of hers I ever heard. Live is almost always the best way to hear artists, IMO, but I feel like it is one song of hers that the music video is a must-see.

LP IS - LP only. Not Laura. She considers “ Laura” a different person. Her band here was just for this Live EP. The musicians on her albums is also different from her touring band. This upcoming tour has new members with the exception of her bass player Brian.

Is it a cover when your the uncredited co-writer because of a bs contract she was under for something like 10 years? Music company was leaching on her talent and putting her on a shelf and not on a record. She has written 150+ songs that have been recorded by artists from various genre. It took a Greek music company pleading to record whatever she wanted for us to finally hear her own voice.
