First time watchiing this just stumbled uppn it. Im reallg glad that these stories are now energing from Africa. Child Abuse does not discriminate its prevalent in African countries but has been taboo to speak about this. But thid slowly changing. With brave women like this beatiful Queen who shared her story. Im so proud she has come through on the other side, She reclaimed her power, she shared her story in a book form that will encourage many other Women in Africa and beyond to speak their truth. God has blessed you with a god fearing man and children Im so happy for you. Thanks to the lovely ladies who came with sensitivity and Compassion in their interview style.

sigh,...I cried, your story touched me, I dont know the pain you went through but I can see from your eyes that it was the worst.. I am so sorry mama you did not deserve that. I am soo happy you found yourself someone who loves you regardless of what happened. I wish you all the good things in life. I really wish I could read your story, I want to gain a deeper understanding of the survivor's experience, learning about the psychological impact of trauma, or simply being interested in your story it really touched me.

The reason I'd like to read this book is because I'm afraid.... I'm afraid of something like this happening to MY daughter. She's only 6 months old and I think about this almost every day... To a point where I think I'm being unfair to her dad(who loves her so so much) and other male relatives and maybe, I need to loosen up. However, I realize that I need to voice it out so they know that should someone ever do something similar, ngofela kuyena and that I expect them to be her protectors ... Like, angazi man but there's that.

Totally understandable fear as we constantly specially hear about men committing these types of disgusting crimes with no remorse. But if you really know your husband and he is a good, empathethic man I really don't think you have to fear, I feel it's more a risk with mothers who are blind and make excuses for their men bad behavior and who rather take their husbands than their childs side. I would still be careful with men I don't know well. Good people who understand empathy are extremely unlikely to commit crimes like this to innocent children (even if the person might have an attraction to children), though some can actually empathy very, that's scary

I have been watching these types of stories lately and in all of them it happened when the girls started living with their dads. Im going to live with my children. No matter what happens. Im going to be very vigilant. I grew up in a household with uncles and my grandmother always told me to tell her if my uncles tried to touch me inappropriately, I didnt understand at that age but now i understand that she was trying to protect me.

Wow, what an amazing episode 🥰🥰 Very inspiring. My team and I have recently started an initiative that is called " Brokenness saved me" The initiative focuses on mending broken relationships ( marriage, families, friends, ministry etc.) And that is through pointing one to Christ having had also go through his own share of brokenness so he can redeem us. In the same manner our brokenness can help redeem another. With that said and done may i kindly request the copy of the book 🙏😅

Exactly, sadly we have to warn out children and teach them how to protect themselves. Specially extremely important to tell your children that they should always tell you, that they are safe and you will believe and to tell even if the perpetrators tries to manipulate or scare them from telling, that they are lying. So important to be able to talk with your children about difficult, dark topics too (at their level) and to not shame and scare them.
