My grandfather did this to my mother from 6-12 years old. It made her non emotional, non nurturing and cold growing up. It also made her fear men, including any abusive one. We still have a difficult relationship to this day. You are a courageous woman for telling your story. God bless

I was raped from the time I was 4 until 16 I ended up getting pregnant between 11 and 12 years old but I don't know if it was my stepfather or step brother... By the time my mom's marriage to my stepfather was over he had passed away and my step brother was gone... I was placed in an institute because I was lying about it.. moms and dads, if your children tell you that they're being raped please look into it. I'm in my 40s and I still have nightmares. When your little like that, and you hope there's someone to help you, and no one believes you ,It just tells you that you're not worth it . I no longer have anything to do with my family.

I had a similar experience with my stepdad. I think it started when I was in grade 2 or 3 and stopped in grade 4 when one morning my mom found him on top of me. Even this day I don’t understand why he was not arrested or why mom stayed married and still had more kids with this man. Then I saw no problem - I wasn’t bothered. He’d give me money to go buy sweets with friends. Today I’m 29, turning 30 next month and the thought of it now that I understand better - I know exactly what was happening, it’s messing up with me every day. Thank you for sharing, it burdens me less to see people claiming back their dignity - I’ve also gained courage to talk about it.

What i learned from this is that Parents needs to start teaching their children about these things at a very young age, sit down with your 5/6 years old girl or boy and explain to her or him these things, It doesn't have to be as deep but just let them know that no one must touch you there and there or do this to you it is wrong and you must come and tell me. It pained that Zizo didn't know that what her dad was doing is wrong. It was a great yet painful interview to watch. Strong to you Zizo, you are very beautiful.

All reports of this nature should be thoroughlly investigated. There is no need to imprison a skunk who has done such natinesss. Removal of the blasted testicles and being fitted with an iron tag with the detailed offence, and being ordered to march twice per day through the ommunity should be enough. Even so, I believe that her father is a sick man. Now could a father have intimate feeling for his daughter? That make no damned sense!
