Thank you for all the uploads. You deserve more credit for taking the time to clip & upload all of these videos. Your channel is like the library of QC content.

this guy makes money off the hard work of other people. he's not involved (afaik) in the production of any of the tournaments or streams he uploads, and yet he profits off of them. I'm not saying he doesn't put in hard work for this channel because I'm sure it takes time and effort, and to some degree the streamers/tournament organizations he rips these streams from are somewhat to blame (as they really should be more on-the-ball- about uploading their own stuff), but let's be real about this - he steals content from other people and makes money doing it. Yes his channel is a good QC library, but he's doing it out of self-interest

you really think these view counts are netting him a living? He's probably making less than dirt per hour for the amount of time it takes to maintain this shit. It's also no shit that he didnt produce this content, but the TOs do not upload and imagine how easy it would be for DH or PGL or Quakecon to claim copyright if they really thought this channel is conflicting with their financial interests. And think of how many people are interested in quake because of this guy. Even during the quake live days no one uploaded this frequently, not even Zoot. The community is benefiting the most from this channel, not this guy's wallet.

@@julianleft4662 well i wrote this a year ago and now I agree that rapha is dominating in QC. Why over 3 different games? He started to win smth in Quake live, then in QC. Two games. I am really curious about the real reason why rapha is so good in QC? Could I say that cypher is bad in QC? No. K1llsen? No. Raisy? No. But why rapha is so dominanting?

Where can I easily see when there is live games and tournaments? I dont play quake but I love watching it. I dont feel they are doing very great job marketing. Like in cs go I know when tournaments are going even if I havent opened the game for 2 weeks.

There are plenty on the internet. His English is not very good though, so his best interviews are in Russian. He mostly focuses on the psychological aspects of the game usually. I.e., things like sense of familiarity, confidence, fear, etc.

Essentially, he was saying his main strategy was to use Clawz's extreme confidence to try to make him overextend himself and give Rapha more of a chance to hurt him. Then Rapha would repeat that until a kill opportunity came and he could close in and finish Clawz off. But, Clawz also forced Rapha to adjust his play a few times. The one moment he highlighted was on Molten Falls, Clawz used Galena to get control of the map much faster than most other players have and that made Rapha play slower, by taking longer routes to clear totems and look for opportunities to regain control. The other points he had about the match were that he had to focus on just playing well, rather than dwelling on what had happened (like when Clawz got four rail shots in a row on him), as well as the choice of Ranger over Keel on Vale of Pnath was due to him wanting to use the ability (the Dire Orb) for mobility and not just to attack. Is that good? Let me know if there are any other parts you want me to clarify. :)
