So wonderful to know that there are artists out there who care about animals and don't support the cruel fur industry. I'm currently looking for a mop brush and will give this one a go - thank you for the review.

You should try Raphael 803 Quil Mop, if you haven't al;ready. They are considered the best quil mops in the market. They provide the most dexterity/precision, out of any other brand, which is crazy for a quil mop soft brush, but it's true. Their balance is towards the front, which provides better control. With quick snap, they snap back to sharp tip in a second. As for Kolinsky, the Raphael 8408 series, are the best I ever had. Da Vinci Maestro series 35 have slightly better finish on the wood, but they are not as thick in the base of the bristle, which is where the Raphael 8408, is better at. These 2 series of brushes, are the best imo. TAlens Rembrandt series 100 Kolinsky, are also a nice choice, but those are the classic shape, equilevant to the Raphael 8404 and Da Vinci series 10 Maestro,. However, thy cost 4 times less, which is a steal for the quality!! They are also made in Germany! Those are THE best brushes on the market.

Recently I've got Raphael brush in "Cat Toung" shape, just wanted to try something new. It has a very nice bristle! Soft and the hair on touch very close to the natural, but it is a synthetic one. It's the next level in synthetic hair, other synthetics on touch you feel they are not natural and holds less water (slick on touch). This one is very good (rough on touch like a natural hair, I didn't expect it)👍 I am not sure will I take a mop from the video or not, I have a lot of brushes. Will see.. maybe will take, price is appropriated as well

They are the best synthetics ive ever used. This brand isn’t that popular in the USA, but glad i tried one. My real russian squirrel mops shed very badly too.

If Raphael brushes were as popular as Winsor&Newton,Da Vinci etc, they would also had dropped the quality to keep up with demand,as it happened with those brands. Raphael is one of the top 10 brands in the world,if not top 5.
