We’re cutting taxes for everyone-rich, middle class, and poor. That’s the plan. The idea is simple: when people have more money in their pockets, the economy gets stronger. What’s happening here is straightforward, but often misunderstood. Let’s focus on the wealthy for a moment. Many of these individuals work tirelessly. They’ve reached a point where they could live a life of luxury without lifting a finger, yet they don’t. What do they do instead? They work seven days a week. These people are relentless in their drive, constantly building, investing, and creating opportunities. Now, let’s talk about what happens when you give them a tax break. These individuals aren’t going to hoard their savings or stuff it in some bank vault like a cartoon villain. That’s not how this works. They’re going to put that money back into the economy. They’ll invest in businesses, expand operations, hire workers, fund innovations, and spur growth. This isn’t a theory-it’s reality. The wealthiest among us are deeply tied to economic activity, and tax cuts allow them to amplify their impact. But this isn’t just about the rich. Everyone benefits from these tax cuts, and we’re also addressing inefficiencies in government spending. We’re cutting unnecessary expenses-trimming the fat-and ensuring taxpayer dollars are used responsibly. This dual approach of tax relief and smarter governance will drive growth and prosperity for all. It’s not about playing favorites; it’s about creating an environment where everyone has a chance to thrive. Last but not least, don’t bring up some left-wing, paid-for Oxford academic study claiming that 50 years of data prove tax cuts don’t work, or cite the communist-leaning World Economic Forum saying that trickle-down economics doesn’t work. Their entire perspective on trickle-down economics is seen through the eyes of a demented, left-wing, woke lunatic. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scott Bessent, President-elect Donald Trump's nominee for Treasury Secretary, has articulated a comprehensive economic strategy aimed at revitalizing the U.S. economy. Central to his approach is the "3-3-3" plan, which focuses on three primary objectives: Reducing the Budget Deficit: Bessent aims to decrease the budget deficit to 3% of GDP by 2028. He emphasizes that the U.S. currently faces a spending problem rather than a revenue issue, advocating for spending cuts and shifts in existing taxes to offset the costs of extending tax cuts. FOX BUSINESS Spurring Economic Growth: He targets achieving a consistent GDP growth rate of 3% through deregulation and other pro-growth policies. Bessent believes that reducing regulatory burdens will encourage private sector investment and economic expansion. FOX BUSINESS Increasing Energy Production: The plan includes boosting U.S. energy production by an additional 3 million barrels of oil per day. Bessent argues that increasing domestic energy output will lower energy prices, reduce inflationary pressures, and enhance energy security.
