All of LA Figures sculpts are amazing. So glad I have a resin printer

I really like how they have a shared look and design across their models so you can put characters from different franchises next to each other on your shelf and they still look uniform.

Just as an FYI, manhole/sewer covers in the U.S. are generally cast iron, and not any sort of brass or bronze. Noticed alot of UK based painters do the bronzish tones, but the material here is different.

Ah that's an interesting detail - yeah ours are always bronze/copper colour - I think it's so you don't notice how dirty they are!

​@daydreamerdesigns3D I think at the time Bronze was not only cheaper but Iron was a priority metal for its military uses. Then UK being very much on tradition(which is a good thing), never changed to Iron. Here they usually end up rust in the recesses, and like a polished metallic black on the top with the silver edges.

Awesome job, I love this set I’ve done them all, the bebop and rocksteady are awesome. Because this base compared to the others is a bit plain I used uv glow in the dark green coming out of some of the holes in the sewer lid. Looks amazing

That's a brilliant idea never thought to use glow paint before - might have to try that in the future. Oh and I'm pretty sure Rocksteady will be my next TMNT model to do as agree the bad guys look amazing. 😃

@@daydreamerdesigns3D ,I’ve just bought the rat Catcher from you on eBay, I’ve always wanted it, but just come out of hospital and I probably won’t be able to print much over the next few months, hopefully I’ll be able to paint it, if not it’ll be nice to look at lol

Yeah I used Army Painter Matt varnish spray which is the best Matt varnish imo. 👍

How long does it take to print?Thanks

I use 0.05mm layers so it takes around an hour printing time for every 1cm in height.

Yeah resin printers are a game changer for these types of models

@@daydreamerdesigns3D I don't mind filament but, the postprocess is ridiculous and all that sanding definitely doesn't allow for texture.

@@CEO_FADeD The downside of resin printing is all the chemicals used so there is definitely a tradeoff
