@@NostalgiaUnboxedI haven’t finished. It’s the first comic/graphic novel I’ve ever bought so I haven’t read any mirage or other versions. I mainly collect transformers/transforming toys but have been going hard on Neca TMNT the last few months after binging all the turtles shows this year. A few pages into last ronin I was like holy fck this dark. Lol But it’s also so well done I realized I needed to give it proper attention and read it when I’m able to fully focus on it appreciate it. Then again, I also say that to myself about the shamefully large and ever growing stack of toys I need to open, so I should just shut up and go finish it already 😂

This is such an awesome figure. I’m still relatively new to collecting (and posing) figures. I’ve been wanting to get one of the last ronin figures but I can’t decide between the armored last ronin, this Raph, and the last ronin Leo. Can’t wait to see a review for Leo because he’s my favorite turtle. Anyways awesome vid, great review.

Raphael has been shown holding his sais in an extremely dangerous fashion for the better part of 40 years. Those spaces between prongs are meant to catch the enemy's weapons, not as a fingerhold. Also, I wonder if the side box art is not actually going to form a mural. Because just based on your two boxes that would mean there are at least two suns or moons at the same time.

That right knee seems to be an issue on most, mine actually came with the entire right leg not attached. I was able to pop it back on him but it took some serious effort, and then I noticed that knee was very loose as well. So whoever assembled that leg sucks LOL

I saw someone mention that the initial Last Ronin figures seem to be done in a slightly more detailed sculpt/aesthetic than some of the more recent releases. For example this Karai is very smooth without much texture on the clothing, compared to the Armored Last Ronin first figure in the line which has a lot of texturing. This could just be an anomoly but it's certainly something I will be looking out for as this line develops over time.

I think it’s just based on the source material. I wouldn’t expect much from her and I think this Raphael is incredibly detailed

I am intrigued by this Last Ronin line, IDW are doing a 'The Last Ronin 2' series of comics with four completely new turtles and their new adventures protecting New York city. I wonder if NECA will seamlessly slide into doing those figures eventually and whether they will mention the number '2' on the box when they get round to them etc.

I haven't read the story. But I love how, aesthetically, this chick is basically Elektra. And then she's paired with the turtle who uses Elektra's weapons. It's like they said "screw it...let's just throw more fuel on the Daredevil origin fire."
