@@DebTuckersStudio180Design thank you! I went ahead and ordered that adhesive film you suggested, I have the grip dots but depending on where they’re placed on the ruler I haven’t been too impressed with them.

Ms. Deb, thank you so much for the detailed and clearly presented Lemoyne Star. I found a bag in my Mothers things after she moved to Heaven. She used my Dad's shirts and some of her dresses to make the diamonds. There are about 300 4" diamonds. She loved quilting but her hands became crippled she couldn't hand sew any longer. I am working up this quilt to give to my son. Y seams are hard, but with your lesson, I can use the diamonds and cut extra fabric to make these start. Again, thanks for giving a clear and well presented lesson. Have done T-shirt and stripe quilts for years, but never a Lemoyne Star so a wonderful learning opportunity for me. Keep working to give us great ideas and inspirations.

Thank goodness I watched your tutorial. I was not loving the tool until your demonstration. Think I'm going to fall in love as soon as I can get to my sewing room in a.m. ♥️👋

I finished by first block last night. What a great tool. It came out almost perfect. All the points were perfect but my center was alittle off. I think I can perfect it. Thanks so much for this tool.

I have the rapid fire Lemoyne star ruler and have watched both videos. I would like to make Mt star with 4 different colors for the diamonds instead of 2. Does anyone know how to do this?
@DebTuckersStudio180DesignАй бұрын
If you want to use 4 different fabrics for the star points assign 2 colors for your A strip sets and 2 colors for your B strip sets. This will give you 4 colors that you can alternate around the star and have 2 points of each color. If you want to do something different you can contact our customer service on our website and we can help you with more specifics.

I get how you use the tool to trim, but what I don't get is what is its use? You have two ends, but you didn't say a word about the top of the ruler. I spent slot for this and I feel like it wasn't A good value. Merely using it to trim one piece just doesn't explain all the markings on each end! Not a happy camper.

Hi Shirley, the tool is used mostly for trimming. The end that isn't talked about in this video is used for fussy cutting diamonds, and subsutting pieced diamonds. Here is a playlist of videos that use the Lemoyne Star tool. kzbin.info/aero/PLPWKDAmLRtMSXsumD5FDLzk1_6s7RSeCh
