it would probably more fantasy esque, kindred is the personification of death, not the region, noxus fits here cause they have that warrior til death mentality and mantra, they view death as welcoming and part of the lifestyle they have as warriors, so having kindred look like this is a given, i mean for a pnz god example not being all hextech and robotics focused we can just look at janna, she's a normal wind spirit no techy stuff just nature, a hextech kindred skin would be just an easy route for that

it would be more exciting if we see how piltovans and zaunites perceive death, and then beuild her off of that, we may see them portrayed as 2 different sides to mirror zaun and piltover and what "death" or "dying" means to them. kinda like how that other comment above this suggesting if riot msde a freljord kindred skin she would be more savage looking and a terrible force of nature, as freljord has the harshest environment out of all the regions and dying through these conditions is the norm

What you're seeing with the Swain skin Nicky is what I, an unfortunate member of the the Fate community, like to refers to as the Medb effect. No one can really explain it but yea, sometimes more clothes are just sexier than 90% skin. For everyone confused as to what I'm talking about: Go look at Base Medb (Rider Queen Medb) and compare her to her Summer (Saber Queen Medb) version.

Warwick is a Zaunite. This skinline is focused on noxus, while i understand that warwick would fit near perfectly into this skinline, it wouldn't make much thematic sense. Hopefully we will get something for him sometime in the future. The wolfman needs a new skin.

My main gripe against the ambessa skin is that... Is a legendary, its supposed to show another possible facet of a champion, but: 1. We dont even know ambessa to see the differences between the legendary and base And 2. You cant turn the noxian soldier into a noxian soldier and call it a LEGENDARY

Imagine having a set of skins concept about facing death and fighting them to survive, actually have a champion who got hit so hard, the aspect inside of him die but he fights to continue living and then the lore of the skin is some random Noxian. Like for god sake, the whole skin line, outside of Ambessa, is just random Noxian while we have a guy whose rework is he got killed in that event yet he had strong enough will to live; a guy whose concept is he constantly fight against death, who Riot shown in the Still here cinematic; a guy who is finding honorable death, fighting so fierce that he is not dead yet; a guy who came back from death to revenge those who betrayed him (2 guys actually). But the skin line is about random Noxians

Like, I get the vibe of it that these are the people that were good enough fights that the Wolf actually let them go for a bit longer, because they're a fun chase, because they're interesting, and that theme works with literally every champion chosen, Pantheon included even though I guess the skin isn't technically isn't him.

I think the quality of Ambessa's legendary will be the quality of all legendaries from now on... because... they probably left the "best" aspects of quality for the $200-$300 legendaries they release every month... Vi's Legendary feels similar to the case of Ambessa's... Both feels like an incompletes legendarys or with wasted potential in several aspects of the skins.

i feel like the highs of the skinline are higher than normal, but the lows are pretty low i adore the kindred katarina and pantheon skins, but not the prestige swain at all tho to be fair i mostly base that off of splash arts rather than the actual in game

this is my favorite skin line of the year so far. lore connections that aren't tied to ionia? great! i love the aesthetic, and i think that all of the skins were well done. kindred does deserve a legendary, but since this is the title of ambessa's novel and her music video, it doesn't bother me that she got it. the copypasted animations are a let down though. they did it in the past with senna and pyke, and their second legendaries ended up being way better than those.

The entire skin line revolves around the way noxus portrais kindred in it's empire and yet she doesn't get the legendary skin that she rightfully deserves since she is the entire reason this skin line exist? I don't get it
