Varus also makes a lot of sense in that Cupid in actual mythology is mostly the god of desire and erotic love Not really those baby cupids, those are called Putto So Varus being a hot naked dude Cupid actually serves the skin well

I feel it's worth mentioning that the original Greek deity Cupid was based on, Eros (where we get the word 'erotic' from), had a brother called Anteros who was made to symbolise pure and selfless love. The only reason I know this is because of the Shaftesbury Memorial Statue in London; people are constantly arguing over whether it's meant to be Eros or Anteros.

I remember when Varus' skin launched it was kinda News(TM) in terms of making content for the female/queer gaze at last, since prior to that only Pool Party Graves and Santa Braum were comparable. So in addition to being a solid concept/execution, it marked the start of riot making content to appeal beyond their normal means even if it was limited to skins alone. shout out to Ruthless Pantheon and Armor of the 5th age Taric for picking up the slack best they could during the early years, they ascended beyond their origins

Heartseeker Ashe is unironically my favorite Ashe skin since it came out, the pink ice effects look so good imo, and the outfit overall is such a perfect level of horny. The in-game model isn't perfect, but it looks great for something that came out 9 years ago.
