I haven't played any of the games, so I can't give a very well-founded opinion, but I would say that Metaphor: ReFantazio, from some gameplay I've seen, appears to be well-constructed, both in gameplay and art aspects.

Happy for Astrobot to win GOTY, didn't play it though. Was actually rooting for Balatro or Shadow of the Edrtree. Spent many hours playing these two. Consider them to be worthy of GOTY title jokes aside

Thank you for you're comment. If I had more time on Balatro, it may have been nominated. I can see why people absolutely love it but only played a few hands as I had plenty of games to play before GOTY (Pete)

I wholeheartedly wanted Metaphor: ReFantazio to win so that people would appreciate turn based JRPG again. And for Atlus to get the respect and W it deserve! p/s: Thanks for the chance!

@@LazerHus Thank you for you're comment. Metaphor was very highly regarded and has made me interested in playing it, but I played so many RPG's this year I didnt need another not long after finishing Infinite Wealth. And also Indiana Jones came out just before we did our draft episode so it missed the cut off unfortunately
